Go for it. Get Giannis, who is injured constantly. Toronto, go get Kawhi, who hasn't played 70 games in years, is injured all the time, and is 35. Harden, please opt out and sign a long term deal with the Cavs. You cant win for shit in the playoffs. At the same time the Celtics are going to keep Brown as no one will meet the asking price and they have shooting with no size once again. Pistons haven't done anything and Pacers have their main guy off a major injury and no Turner.
Meanwhile, all our key guys have 5-6 years left of prime playing years and we have continuity.
I love this offseason.
Celtics still have no size and not a ton of size available out there, the Heat have half a roster with no shooting and will lose Powell and now have an aging oft-injured superstar.
My biggest fear is the Pistons signing Powell, that's a game changer.
I don't see the Knicks impacted by this trade in a meaningful way for at least another year.
I'm getting tired of hearing this. Spurs dominated as they led for longer.
Yeah, the Knicks were outscoring them by 30 over the last 20 minutes of game 4. Trailed for 19 of those minutes. But dominated.
Having the lead does not mean you dominated in any way.
Shut up and lose with class.
My prediction last series was Knicks in 4. The matchup didn't make sense. I posted the reasons here prior to the series.
This series is Knicks in 5.
The Knicks have the highest average assist totals of the four teams remaining, and second of all the playoff teams. Cavs are last in assists of the remaining teams, and 11th overall of the playoff teams.
That number is even skewed, as the Knicks played a ton of garbage time, which is often one on one bench players.
The only team to average more average assists per game was Toronto. Their entire postseason was against one team. The Cavs.
The Cavs offense is a ton of one on one. If one player goes off, they are good, but it makes them easier to guard. And the Knicks have the wings to take players on one on one, and the length to cover passing lanes should they be used.
These Knicks are pass heavy, high assist off ball movement offense that is humming. The Cavs give up a ton of assists.
I don't see this as a good matchup for the Cavs at all. The last thing a one-on one team wants to see is a ton of strong individual, long defenders, and that's the Knicks.
And the Cavs give up points off of passes, and the Knicks are a top assist team.
Donovan carries the Cavs to one win, but that's it. Knicks in 5.
Its so damn hot to search through older credit card statements and see the patterns. A sudden stream of 4-5 increasing Amazon gift card purchases or 4-5 consecutive adds to Niteflirt. Instantly aroused, every memory comes crashing back.
