Indy Shorts 2026!

Anyone who has been to Indy Shorts before: got any tips to make the most of the festival (besides have fun😂)? What were your fave events? Best coffee spots around the main area? Any recs of any non-fest things to do while you’re there? Is it generally super casual attire-wise, or nicer? Any nights/parties we should look fancier for?

I’ll be a first timer at this fest with a comedy short, and I don’t know many people have been before and same for my producers. I’m pumped but always love a little intel because I’m neurotic 😅

I’m only 37…

i know my periods are irregular and all I’ve gotten are shrugs and a “maybe it’s primary ovarian insufficiency” which technically would send me into early menopause but i’m “not there yet”. still I’ve gotten tons of tests done and even tried an IVF cycle which we cancelled before retrieval both times because my eggs stopped growing— my periods have been messed up since then. I rapidly gained stubborn weight over about two months in 2024 that I can’t get gone (it was so sudden that that plus two missed periods sent me to the doctor since i knew I wasn’t pregnant), though I’m still within normal range for my height, I’m just uncomfortable at this size.

I struggle with energy (currently still horizontal in bed) and what I think is brain fog but I’m not sure bc no other women my age are going thru any of this. sometimes I feel like i might be having hot flashes but it’s usually linked with something that makes me feel anxious, and i go long periods of time without them. I have so many things i want to do and people i want to hang with but im soo tired most of the time. I did have a few tests at the doctors last year that came up with REALLY low vitamin d (despite taking a high supplement) and A1C in the pre diabetic range (they told me not to worry about it even tho my grandpa was diabetic, and the next time I came in, it was normal again).

i started testing during my cycle a few months ago with Inito test strips and my numbers are all over the place (id post pics here but the rules say don’t post test results so i didnt want to).

i’m 37 and my mother had me when she was exactly my age, plus I got my period later than anyone else in high school so I thought I’d have more time 😭 this sucks.

Is there anyone else who started the change this young? Any tips?

…wth?

why do all the charts I’ve done so far look so wildly different? has anyone seen this and know if these look typical for anything i could possibly test for? I know my periods are irregular (see: my 78 day cycle this last time) and all I’ve gotten are shrugs. I’ve gained stubborn weight since 2024 that I can’t get gone and I struggle with energy and brain fog. i’m 37 and my mother had me when she was exactly my age 😭
