Looking for developers to pitch my game idea to. Anyone interested in medieval Slavic settings where you are building, managing (economy) and defending a circular settlement (a 'Gord') with a mix of mechanics inspired by Stronghold, Frostpunk and Ceasar/Pharao?

I was deeply disappointed by the actual game Gord. What should have been a masterpiece on paper failed and was abandoned even. I would go a step further and broaden the scope, taking out the exploration/survival and RPG elements and make it more conservative/classic.

I am not a game dev, I have no idea about it but I am good at ideas and concepts, and I played a lot of all the classics we all love. My main platform would be macOS, because this is where I am and feel a lack of titles for.

At this point, any conversation and evaluations would be purely hypothetical.

This clever app was written in Swift, Python and C++ using the open repository 'OTIO' (OpenTimelineIO) what Resolve and Premiere have under the hood as well, apparently. it translates an edit, meaning it extracts/processes audio files, copying them to a new folder together with an AAF makde without any proprietary code. Again, the dev asks for testing and feedback.

Make It AAF

For Final Cut Pro

>This little translator tool turns your FCPXML/MLD files carrying your edits into AAF projects for Avid ProTools, while flattening, extracting, and copying all used audio files to a new folder. The engine sticks to basic adjustments and splits multi-channel audio to keep the processing safe (exclusively using open-source code).

It is also FREE and 100% swift code and uses the genius logic from the now dead app FCPXchange. it works on a database level, tricking FCP into accepting basically any relink to any format or media as long as the framerate is the same. i also supports BRAW and external proxies. AND, which is my constant pain, it's supposed to fix the broken relinking when transitioning to RESOLVE due to misinterpreting the timecode of some sony MP4s in FCP. again, the dev asks for testers and feedback!

Make It RELINK

For Final Cut Pro

>An advanced and specialized tool designed for "impossible" relinking scenarios. While FCP's native relink command is strict—requiring nearly identical metadata (duration, format, audio channels), this app is for when you know the media is correct despite those differences. The app uses a "global replace" logic to bypass FCP's internal restrictions.

It copies source media on your drive to a new location, to make it clear (only the actually used clips in your project, slimming down a handover), outside of FCP. I remembered there was an old but now dead app for this, seems like somebody revived it and turned it into 100% swift code! I will try and test, since it seems to be very fresh and bloody edge. The dev asks for feedback on it.

Make It Move

For Final Cut Pro

>A small tool for cloning used-media only, copying all source clips referenced in a project/edit to a new location. No need to give someone else 20 TB if you can hand over your actually used clips only. A much-needed step when working with multiple editors or transferring an edit to a different machine.
