Inside the main electronics it's all dry and not corroded. I tried unplugging the capacitor but it's still instantly short circuiting even though our mains is 12A and it draws 9A.
Could it be the main switch? Any other leads? Thanks so much for your help

It's about the closest you get to seeing what musicians actually listen to at home. The annoying part was always that it lived on YouTube.
So I spent the last year archiving the whole thing: All 900+ episodes, (almost) every record anyone picked, searchable by artist, genre and decade and of course listenable. Quotes are timestamped to the exact moment in the video.

Like a lot of people here, I've lost whole evenings to Amoeba's What's In My Bag videos, musicians, artists and actors browsing through the store talking about the records they love. The frustrating part was that the only way to watch was scrolling an endless YouTube playlist. You couldn't search it, couldn't see who picked what, couldn't find every time a particular record got pulled out of the bag.
