中国喀纳斯景区 干净安静

I recently spent some time in Kanas, in northern Xinjiang, China, and I wanted to share a few impressions because this place genuinely surprised me.
Before going, I knew Kanas was famous for its mountains, forests and lake, but I didn’t really understand what the landscape would feel like in person. Photos looked beautiful, but I assumed they were probably doing most of the work.
They weren’t.
One of my favorite things was actually just slowing down and looking around.
There were moments when I wasn’t taking photos at all. I’d just stand there for a few minutes watching the mountains and listening to the wind. After spending so much time in cities, that kind of quiet felt surprisingly refreshing.
The journey through the area was also part of the experience. The roads and mountain scenery constantly changed, and there were plenty of moments when I wanted the vehicle to stop so I could take another photo.
One thing I noticed afterward: the scale is difficult to capture in pictures. Some of the landscapes looked impressive on my phone, but in person they felt much larger and more immersive.
I also really enjoyed how different the trip felt from the typical destinations I’ve visited before. It wasn’t just about checking off famous landmarks. A lot of the enjoyment came from simply being surrounded by nature for a few days.

Do you like eating mooncakes

Every year, I have to buy mooncakes to enjoy. I absolutely love them! My favorites are red date paste, red bean paste, and lotus seed paste fillings.

水煮肉片好香啊

Homemade boiled pork slices (Shui Zhu Rou Pian). The prep is a little complicated and requires quite a few ingredients, but it’s totally worth it! The pork is tender, the spices are rich and flavorful, and it’s absolutely perfect with a bowl of steamed rice.

锅包肉是我的最爱 心中永恒的top1

Guobaorou is a famous dish from Northeast China. Over the past 20 years, I’ve tried Guobaorou at countless restaurants, always searching for the most delicious and authentic version. This restaurant’s Guobaorou is truly amazing! It’s actually quite difficult to make this dish at home, so it’s one of those dishes I prefer to enjoy at a good local restaurant.
