We're building a modding tool for Astral Ascent!

Hey everyone, I already posted this kind of thing on our Discord but I know not everyone here is on it so here I am (I know a lot of things about you mwhahahahah you shall fear my power!) 🔥

So, A2M2, our modding tool for Astral Ascent will be released in a few weeks (like very soon). We've been working on it for a while and we're getting close to actually putting it in your hands.

Real quick, here's what it does: you can edit any visual asset in the game. Sprites, animations, attack FX, decors, characters. One element or a full overhaul, up to you. For now it's visuals only, no gameplay or mechanics yet.

We're showing it live in the next devlog with a mod example so you'll see it for real soon.

But honestly we're at the point where we'd rather just ask than guess. So:

Do you actually care about this kind of thing? Got a mod idea sitting in your head already? And when it drops, what makes it worth celebrating for you? A contest, a showcase, something else? 🤔

Tell us. We're genuinely building the launch around what you want.

Testing lighting on an early zone for our game...

Hey ! We're currently working on Fallen Fates, our new project, and we'd love to start sharing our dev and art progress here as we go.

Here's a capture from one of the first zones in the game. Assets are still early and the UI you see is debug stuff (ignore the panning text and placeholder icons, none of that is final), but what we're really testing right now is the lighting.

What do you think of the overall mood here? Also we might add a shader for the water later...
