math n physics quest

Incoming UoG CS student here 😭 I got assigned the Math & Physics Quest. The math one was honestly quite okay, I could do most of it by referring back to my o lvl notes (yes I still have them 💀).

But bro the physics quest is actually insane. I took pure phy for o's and so many of the terms weren’t even in my notes. I ended up asking chatgpt for quite a few questions because I genuinely had no idea what they were talking about, and some of the formulas they used weren’t even things I learnt before.

Now I’m lowkey stressing because how relevant are these quests actually? 😭 Like are we expected to know all this before school starts? Will this stuff actually come up in modules or tests later on, or are the quests just there to refresh your knowledge and get you thinking?

I mean I get why the math quest is there since math is obviously important for CS, but the physics one has me so confused 😭 Like what am I even gonna be doing with physics in a CS course HAHA. I’ve literally been spending the past few days trying to relearn everything because I’m scared I’ll be behind everyone else if I don’t know all this. The physics quest just feels like a whole different level 💀.

Can any seniors let me know if I’m just overthinking this or if these quests are actually that important?

SUTD csd or SIT uog cs

hi guys need some opinions cuz im actually damn stuck rn 😭

for context, i applied for SIT-UoG CS during the the EAE period but got rejected. then recently i got accepted through the appeal window. the problem is i already accepted SUTD during the main admissions window so now idk which one to choose.

honestly course isn't really the issue since both are cs related and their employment rate is quite similar but still i believe employment is based on how well u perform during the interview so i dont really fllw that strictly. im more deciding based on the school itself.

one thing that's making me think is that quite a few of my friends/acquaintances got offered both SUTD and SIT (some even the same course) and they all chose SUTD. so now im wondering if there's something im not seeing LOL.

personally im leaning a bit towards SIT. the new campus is great, it's literally walking distance from my house (like 10 mins), and i feel like there's more stuff around there. got pg coast mall and everything nearby. meanwhile SUTD feels a bit more isolated and if i wanna go somewhere like changi city pt still need travel a bit.

but at the same time i scared later i choose SIT just because it's convenient and then end up regretting it if SUTD actually has advantages that matter more in the long run.

i need to decide asap as there isnt much time left so pls help me out HAHAHAH. for those who considered both or are studying in either school, why did yall choose one over the other? any regrets or things you wish you knew before deciding? and for those just reading what other concerns should i take into account?

btw i have alrdy completed the matriculation for SUTD if i want to go SIT instead what do i do with SUTD? do i email them or what?
