grooming nightmares

almost every night i have grooming nightmares. cutting dogs, not getting dogs done on time, doing the wrong haircut, etc.

it makes me not wanna do this anymore. i’ve wanted to call out a lot lately. it’s like i have a fear of grooming. i’m terrified to do sanis, use a 7, and trim ears.

i’ve been doing this 8 years and i don’t have any other skills or else i’d leave just to hopefully stop this.

idk if this is a rant or asking for advice. just needed to get it off my chest.

lost my dog earlier this year

his name was Crash, a little chi mix. He was approx 17 when i let him go.
i just wanted to share a little about him. he’s the most unique dog i ever owned.

i adopted him in 2018, and the rescue believes he was about 9 years old. they told me he had back pain that they couldn’t pinpoint, so i’m guessing they didn’t do an x-ray because as you see, it’s fucked up.

i got all kinds of different opinions on these x-rays from rehab vets and specialists, and most of it varied. i’d be interested in what y’all think.

this fucker also tore his CCL in 2022 because he slipped off the back of the couch. we got multiple opinions and decided not to pursue surgery and did intense rehab instead. and for the most part it worked! still had a wonky leg but he got some muscle back and was using it well.

he also would eat EVERYTHING. my mom watched him a total of four times - the first time he got into a trash bag left by the door and ate moldy chocolate cake, ramen, onion and garlic skins, and parts of the trash bag. the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time, he got into marijuana. i should’ve learned the first time.

towards the end he showed signs of neurological damage in his hind end and was quickly becoming confined to his bed. i needed him to have some dignity so i decided it was time.

he was an absolute menace and put me through thousands of dollars of vet bills. and i would do it all again. i miss him. i was unsure of the idea of a “soul dog” until i adopted him. god what a wonderful dog.

rest in peace Crash. i’m glad you’re not in pain anymore.

(REQUEST: $101) Help getting out of the negative

Colorado, U.S.

Hi everyone, my commission-based job doesn’t have enough clients for me and I’m struggling a bit. A bill went through and put my account into the negative and I’m just trying to get out for now to avoid more overdraft fees. I’m -$101.

I have some interviews lined up and hopefully will get back on track soon.

Thank you so much!

anyone else who can’t stand Alexi Lalas?

god he drives me crazy. i swear he adds nothing substantial to the commentary of the game and just says the stupidest shit.

not looking forward to him commentating the WWC.
