Foot numbness?

Can increase in mileage cause foot numbness? Been running for 18 months no feet issues. Since signing up for a half marathon I got new shoes and a new training plan which has also naturally increased my weekly mileage. Now I get pins and needles every run, starting around 3km mark, starts in the outer two toes and progresses to the whole bottom of my feet (worse in left but does affect right aswell). Tried different shoes again incase of ill fitting shoes. and still an issue…is it just something my feel will adjust to? Any advice?

Could it be Moreton’s neuroma? It isn’t painful at all.

When does it get easier?

I’ve been running for approximately 18 months, started with couch to 5k, and now doing couch to 10K! And I have a few fun runs lined up in the near future. Since I started, I have definitely progressed, I can run further, a bit faster!

But I still sometimes find actual running so…unenjoyable? I enjoy the afterwards, and I love building on a skill I have always wanted to do. Very rarely I run a run that feels good throughout, but 9/10 I really hate it 😂 is it like this for most people? Or will I learn to love it with more time?

Rectocele/perineal repair results

Hello

I am done having my children, and before my last baby I saw a surgeon about having a repair done on my back wall/perineum. Now that we are finished our family I am going to head back and see her, yay!

Curious, anyone who has had this procedure, did you feel the whole perineal area felt more lifted and supported? This is what I am struggling with the most, sometimes it feels like the whole area has descended since pre kids.

Thanks!
