I want y’all to help me change my mind on Wolfstar. I’m first and foremost a Drarry & Jegulus shipper (I’m sorry in advance, I know many in this fandom don’t love those ships but I think knowing this would help with recs). I love Wolfstar as a background ship and I know how beloved they are, I enjoy their side stories in things I’m reading but I’m never really excited by them in the same way. I don’t know if it’s because I see the dynamic of friends-to-lovers as less exciting than enemies-to-lovers or what.

I say all this not to dog on the ship, I want to be excited about it because Remus’ wolf-y dynamic is definitely my speed and there’s just an abundance of wolfstar content. Y’all are blessed with some of the best artists in the fandom!

What are some fics you’d recommend to me to hook me into wolfstar?

Preferably:
- HEA (I love heavy angst but only knowing that my boys make it out okay in the end)
- No MCD
- no Lily bashing if bg ship is Jegulus (tho I’m guessing this is rarer in this ship? I’m okay with Jily as a bg ship!)

Bonus (but unnecessary):
- bg Drarry or Jegulus
- Wolf-y things

I’m okay with just about all the stuff our freaky little communities have come up with so don’t be shy about out there tags, dead dove, AUs, mpreg, abo, creature fics (obvi) - I’m a fan of crack fics, short fics, mega epic long fics - all of it!

My OTP is Drarry but I’ve recently fallen in love with Jegulus as well after reading Only The Brave & The Golden King. That said, it makes me sad when fics don’t have an opening for Harry to exist because then there’s no future Drarry. 😭 Harry doesn’t have to be a huge part of the plot I just like the ending to be open to him existing.

Any ‘Harry-will-eventually-exist’ fic recs that:
- are HEA endgame Jegulus ofc
- have no Lily bashing
- no MCD (major/main character death)

Bonus if there’s:
- mean Reggie (if he’s nice/soft too quickly it feels ooc)
- angst !!! with a happy ending
- slow burn
- eventual black brothers bonding (a big draw to me of Jegulus is the platonic Sirius & Regulus bonding it’s so precious)
- rosekiller (unhinged Barty!) & wolfstar I just love them
