How far do you travel for your run club?

Inspired by this post from r/RunNYC

I’m curious: how far do you travel for your run club? How far is too far and is it worth the commute for the right community?

I’m new to the DMV and shopping around for a run club. I’m in the MD suburbs, but there’s a DC club that seems more my vibe, so I’m wondering whether people regularly cross the lines for their run club or if that’s doing entirely too much and more or less stay where they are.

HELP WWYD?: Keep Cat 3 nosebleeds or risk resale for better seats?

Hey everyone!

Back in December, I entered the random selection draw for 3 Category 3 tickets for Match 68: Croatia v Ghana and got selected in February. The tickets were supposed to be a surprise for my parents and me, so I grabbed them, knowing they probably wouldn’t be amazing seats, but I didn't think they'd be what they were.

Now that May 28 is presumably the last ticket drop before the tournament begins, I’m debating what to do. The seats are pretty rough (basically nosebleeds), and I’m wondering if I should:

  1. Keep the tickets I already have and enjoy the experience (though my parents will probably whine), or
  2. Put them up for resale and gamble on trying to get better seats during the next drop or the week of the match

The confusing part for me is how FIFA’s system actually works. Do I need to list/sell my existing tickets before I’m even allowed to buy different ones? I’ve tried contacting FIFA support, but the responses have been vague and not very helpful.

Curious what others in a similar situation are doing. Thanks!

Privately Owned Condo Rentals with In-Unit Laundry?

I’m currently apartment hunting in/around Silver Spring (also open to Forest Glen, Wheaton, and North Bethesda, etc.), and I’m trying to get a better sense of which condo buildings tend to have individually owned rental units rather than large professionally managed apartment complexes e.g., Veridian, Kanso, Blairs, etc., ideally with in-unit washer/dryers for 1-2 BR units.

I’ve noticed a lot of the older condo buildings in the area seem to have great layouts and pricing compared to newer buildings, but many either don’t have in-unit laundry or have other tradeoffs that have made my search more challenging than expected.

Are there any specific condo buildings or areas you’d recommend keeping an eye on? Or is the washer/dryer requirement in older buildings just genuinely rare around here?
Thank you!
