I promise you we know what golden brown crust looks like. To reiterate, the entire top of the pizza was covered edge to edge in mozzarella cheese so the crust is not visible, only white mozzarella cheese is visible (except the bottom right corner, near where a dog hair landed while I was taking the picture. The dog hair was noticed and removed before eating and is really not relevant to the topic at hand, but I felt the need to make that clear s some of you noticed it. We have five dogs and dog hair floats around quite easily but we make a concerted effort to keep it out of our food.) We make pizza every week, we like to do different kinds. This week was alliums, my favorite. Also I originally wanted pizza to only include onions, shallots, leeks, and garlic, but was coerced into adding diced tomatoes. Anyway, I thought you all would appreciate seeing my allium pizza in all its glory. I wish you all could have a bite, if you love onions like I love onions, you would agree that it is truly magnificent.

Edit 2: someone on the crust post suggested in the future we should broil it for a couple of minutes when it’s done to brown the cheese. Great idea! We will have to have a redo using this and the other helpful suggestions. I’ll be sure to report back here when we do for further critique. 🫡
