Some cereus stands I found in Florida

These are on somebody’s land but this area has tons of them and you can even find them having seeded themselves on vacant land and edges of woods where nobody lives

Another endemic Florida cactus Opuntia Austrina

Aka the Florida prickly pear or the devils tongue they stay fairly small and thrive in full sun to a decent amount of shade beneath tree cover. They have quite a small range but where they are common 40 ish minutes west of Okeechobee they are impossible to count! All parts of the plant are edible however it produces lots of glochids as well as long barbed spines which can be annoying to get out.
