Looking for a furnished place for 3 months in Toronto downtown

Relocating to the area for work on next September for 3 months and need something furnished — not looking for a full year lease, and Airbnb is way too expensive for anything longer than a couple weeks.

Ideally a 1-bedroom or studio, somewhere reasonably central (Gatineau or Ottawa side both fine), budget around 1800$-2000$/month all-in if possible.

If anyone has a place like this, or knows where people usually post/find these kinds of rentals around here, I’d really appreciate any pointers. Struggling to find anything centralized so far!”

Anyone doing furnished mid-term rentals (30+ days) instead of standard leases?

Looking into furnished mid-term rentals (3-12 months) as an alternative to a standard year lease.

For anyone already doing this how’s demand been? Are you finding tenants easily, or is it more of a struggle than expected? Also curious what platforms/channels people are actually using to find tenants, since I haven’t seen much built specifically here in Quebec

Would appreciate hearing from anyone with real experience, good or bad

Anyone doing furnished mid-term rentals (30+ days) in Ottawa-Gatineau instead of standard leases?

Looking into furnished mid-term rentals (3-12 months) as an alternative to a standard year lease — thinking it might work well here given the number of federal workers, students, and people relocating temporarily to the area.

For anyone already doing this in Ottawa or Gatineau — how’s demand been? Are you finding tenants easily, or is it more of a struggle than expected? Also curious what platforms/channels people are actually using to find tenants, since I haven’t seen much built specifically for this here (unlike the US where Furnished Finder seems to be the go-to).

Would appreciate hearing from anyone with real experience, good or bad

Furnished mid-term rentals (not Airbnb) — worth the hassle?

Thinking about getting into furnished mid-term rentals (3-12 months) instead of a regular year-long lease. For anyone who’s actually done this — is it more work than a standard rental? What’s the part that surprised you the most once you were actually in it?

Where do people find furnished mid-term rentals in Ottawa-Gatineau?

Looking for something furnished, 3-6 months, not a full year lease. Kijiji and FB Marketplace are pretty scattered for this. Anyone found a better way to search, or know what to watch out for? Curious what the biggest headache was for anyone who’s done this before.
