This must be just like living in paradise, to quote DLR. My beautiful 2008 PRS which I bought brand new in 2009, a brown face Fender Princeton and the Quad Cortex as Pedalboard. Wireless via the lovely Line 6 G 50. Pristine!

It is me, my CU 24,a Brownface Princeton, my Pedalboard in this serene surrounding where I am ensconced to write new music and lyrics for the second record of my band Sheer Cerebral Power. The debut „Sucker Punch’d“ was released in 2021 and did well. The follow up will be titled „Phantasmagoria“ and is due when I am finished. Again on Yellowbird/Enja. And don’t forget: Kindness is everything!

This is my first attempt on the tune „Phantasmagoria“ of my band Sheer Cerebral Power on whose follow up for the debut „Sucker Punch’d“ I am working on. The DGT goes into my Bogner Goldfinger SL 45 which enters the multitrack via Tubetech CL, Massenburg GML 8200 Series Parametric EQ and some echo from my Cooper Time Cube which works wonders. The Amphead is miked with a Sennheiser MD 421 from 1968 which I bought at an auction of Abbey Road gear.

I bought this guitar new in 2008 and somehow sold it again a year later. In any case, I bought her back and am flabbergasted how amazing this guitar sounds. Here you can hear what she sounds like through my Bogner GOLDFINGER 45 SL via a Sennheiser MD 441 from 1968 into a UAD 6176 Tube Channel Preamp/Compression. Reverb is from the board(Akai BX)and a little bit of AMS for Modulation.
