I love breakfast (attempt two)

Apparently the mods of this sub want me to be stalked. Ugh! Blurred the background as my home is very distinctive and I’ve had a rando DM me my exact address. So I blurred and apparently that means AI?!

Anyway, cropped

Over medium egg, sautéed shiitake, sautéed spinach, pan-fried halloumi with honey and chili flakes, pan-fried polenta, blueberries, and a beet-orange juice drink!

Yum!

Are you early retired if your spouse still works?

This has become a very interesting question for me. I am 47, have no job and earn no money. No plan to have another job.

Husband is 46 and planning to work until 53.

We have enough money to both be retired now—he chooses to keep working and wants more money.

I’ve seen many folk here and in FIRE communities say they are retired/retiring early and then throw in that their spouse is/will continue working.

I have been calling this housewife/househusband.

But I think I’m officially calling myself early retired now.

Thoughts?

Monster Tour

I was 16 and it was my very first show without parents going along. My very first show of sleeping outside, waiting for tickets at a department store. My very first show of just us teenagers driving.

The best story is that it was me (atheist), my friend (catholic) and another friend (Mormon). The Mormon told the Catholic and I we were going to hell on the way to that show.

Fun, fun, fun

I was diagnosed with MVP in my early 30s but it hasn’t caused me any major issues. For a while if I laid down on my back and fell half asleep, I might feel a very subtle dropped heartbeat once in a while.

But just recently (like in the last few weeks) I’ve been having very noticeable feelings of my heart, stopping for a moment and it’s in any position even when I’m sound asleep at wake me up.

Well, I did a little research because I also have had my first two ever anovulatory cycles. So I know my hormones have made a big shift recently.

Well, my Internet research tells me that that could be what is causing the MVP to kick up.

I’ve been meaning to work with a gynecologist who does hormone replacement and help me get my fibroid out so I can go on HRT

I will also see a cardiologist because it’s a good idea

Just wanted to know if anybody else has had this connection or learned anything about it or made any changes because of it
