ISRO ICRB 2026 payment showing pending despite successful SBIePay transaction

I applied for the ICRB ISRO recruitment (Advt. No. ISRO:ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026) and paid the ₹500 application fee on 14 August 2026 through UPI/GPay.

The payment receipt initially showed SUCCESS. I also checked the SBIePay transaction tracking page, which shows:

  • Transaction date: 14-Aug-2026, 22:19:52
  • Amount: ₹500
  • Transaction Status: IN CLEARING
  • Transaction Status Description: “Transaction is successful further processing is in progress”
  • Settlement Date: -

However, when I log into the ICRB application portal, it still says:

>

I also received an email from ICRB saying that my application is incomplete and/or the application fee has not yet been paid.

I have already raised a payment-status complaint through the portal, but I'm worried because the deadline is 16 August 2026 at 11:55 PM.

Has anyone faced this with ICRB/SBIePay before? Does “IN CLEARING” usually get updated automatically, and should I simply wait for the payment to be reconciled, or is there anything else I should do before the deadline?

I don't want to make another ₹500 payment and end up with a duplicate transaction.

suggetion for CIL MIT

I've registered for CIL MT 2026 (Systems). I know the technical syllabus is pretty similar to GATE CSE, but I've never prepared for or appeared in GATE.

Can you suggest some good books or study material that cover most (if not all) of the syllabus in one place? I know it's probably impossible for a single book to cover everything, but I'm looking for something as comprehensive as possible so I don't have to juggle 10 different books.

Are Made Easy/ACE notes enough, or is there any other book/resource you'd recommend for someone starting from scratch?

Need help with similarity check

I made a seminar report that had to go through a similarity check. The maximum allowed similarity was 20%, but I got 21%.

They flagged content from the acknowledgement page, declaration, and certificate sections, even though those were provided by my college itself.

They also marked core technical terms from my report. Since my topic was a comparative analysis of ML algorithms, terms like algorithm names, evaluation metrics, and other domain-specific words were naturally repeated.

what do I do ?
