I just saw this post of a player asking CS and their response is that Rafayel’s myth is coming in August. I’m wondering when it will be officially released now but they still could release the PV and promote it in late July.

What do you think? I’m guessing it could start right after the Heartfelt Gift event ends so that they could fit in a multi right after.

We don’t know when Zayne’s new myth will be released but I’m certainly looking forward to it! I have a feeling it won’t be released until next year so I can take my time waiting and speculating on the new myth.

Recently, I saw on RedNote that it’s rumored that Zayne’s next myth identity is a >!Grim Reaper as a hooded figure.!<

I personally think that’s a cool and fitting theory for Zayne but I always look at those rumors cautiously. Since MC’s weapon is likely to be guns, I’m thinking the myth timeline could take place in a sci-fi setting. The pre-GoA timeline that was mentioned in one of his World Underneath story is a strong possibility. And if MC using guns and >!Zayne using a scythe, which has already been hinted in some of his previous content!< , I wonder how that will all look together overall. I just want to be surprised haha like how I was pleasantly surprised with GoA ❤️

Because of the Fractal Library, the possibility for his myth identities is endless so anything is possible I think. As long as the myth is of great quality with beautiful visuals, decently strong myth companion, and a well-written story and most importantly fitting to Zayne’s overall lore, I think I will be happy. I just want the best for our Zayne 🥺

Illusio is ending soon so I’ve been trying to use it with Zayne’s memories as much as possible. I have a lot more but this is already so much to share 😆

I think I used it the most with his Dawn and Devotion card this time. Something about Zayne walking out the mist just makes my heart flutter every time 🥹 And of course I want to see kitty Zayne in Illusio because he’s just so cute! 🥰

I’ve been obsessed with the music in Zayne’s Framed Dusk since I heard the trailer. It’s very sweet, romantic and perfect for the sunset setting of the memory. 🥹 I have to wait until they release the next album soundtrack but at least I can listen to the trailer and videos like this in the mean time.

This may not mean much but I think it’s nice that they can still have normal collaboration in a non-Chinese server at the moment even if it’s pretty silent on the game’s official media. The collaboration looks pretty fun too!

Comments like this openly admitted that V stans will forget all about other problems in the game as long as they have their shiny new toy back. The arrogance and hypocrisy they have been showing are ridiculous.

The schedule has already been changed the moment they decided to launch someone nobody asked for. The boycott and the reputation hit started when V was announced, NOT when they announced he would be cancelled. What kind of revenue do they expect V will bring? One LI will outperform 5 LIs who have actual presence and established lore and content in game? And which group of CN players are trying to clear his name? From what I’ve seen, the CN players who have followed the situation understand how serious it has become and it’s more than just about V at the end of the day, which is why many of them are still boycotting because they want other issues to be addressed. Many said removing V will not resolve the game’s issues but neither will bringing him back, but at least with V not in game, the company has no choice but to focus their resources on the existing 5 LIs only and actually work on improving the gameplay experience for everyone.

It’s exhausting to see comments and posts like this still rampant and upvoted in the main sub. The company already made announcement: V is cancelled forever and no more new LIs. If they ever somehow decide to bring V back, it will be through an announcement and not a quiet launch. So if there are no new statements to negate previous ones, it means nothing has changed and their precious wolf is never coming back. I don’t understand why they are so stubborn to believe that and they keep holding onto their weird hope using any new leaks/ hints/ loopholes they can find. What do they expect PG to say at this point? “We want to reaffirm that V is cancelled and he will never be launched” or what? I can never understand the mindset of these people 😐

Zayne looks so good in his GoA outfits (both verdion)!!! And in my biased heart, Kitty Zayne is the cutest!!! 🥹🥹😭

After finishing ‘Dawn and Devotion’, the things that stay with me the most are not only the romance or the Pride and Prejudice references, but also how consistent Zayne is as a character, even without his memories. I enjoyed reading this memory a lot!

In this current timeline story, there was this little quirky twist where MC and the LI got pulled into a movie, and only MC retained her memory and the way to get out of it was to change the supposed outcome - at least that is the case for Zayne and his MC. I really love that the story of the movie had a bittersweet ending when the male and female leads did not end up together, and changing that ending led to Zayne and MC being married. This incident temporarily resetted their relationship and it was so refreshing to experience early relationship dynamic again like this: MC, despite not knowing what to do to get bac.k to the real world, did not want to lose Zayne so she made efforts to spend time with him regularly and Zayne was gradually falling for her over time.

One thing I want to note is that, as also noted by MC herself, even though Zayne has no memories of his real life in Linkon city with MC, no medical knowledge that he learned in that world, no clue about his own Evol (I have no reason to think that Zayne does not have his Evol in the movie since MC does), he still did all he could to help people, in this case in a similar role as a doctor even when something like that was unusual for a nobleman like him in the movie. In a previous memory ‘Everlasting Wish’, he and MC talked about how if he no longer has his Evol, he will continue doing what he already does and his accomplishments in the medical fields have never relied on his Evol. I think we are starting to see more of what’s that like for Zayne in this memory and in ‘Entwined Kites’. In EK, Zayne was an non-imperial prince and not a doctor but he focused on using his resources to take down greedy/ corrupted people who took advantage of others in Anlan city. Zayne is selfless and no matter which timeline he is in; he consistently does what he can to help people, doctor or not.

As their relationship progressed in ‘D&D’, we learned more about his thoughts: MC should choose the right person for herself and not be bound by an arranged marriage/ engagement. And I love MC’s rebuttal to this - she said what I and probably many others think about his tendency to self-sacrifice and make decisions for her sake: “How would you know what’s right for me?”; “But I never had those thoughts you speak of” and “But do you know what I want now?”. Yes Zayne, did you even ask MC what she truly wanted? Why would it be okay for Zayne to decide what’s best for her without asking her? Is what Zayne thinks is right for her really what’s right for her? And I said this out of love for Zayne. Later, at the ball, Zayne expressed that he wanted MC to be able to follow her own heart freely and did not want to see her in trouble (hence he was looking out for her), but he also did not want to restrict her liberty or control her choices. We don’t see this much often now in current timeline memories of Zayne, but this kind of push and pull and the conflicted feelings he experiences because of love are very bittersweet and honestly expected of Zayne, even when it drives me insane and makes me want to scold him (again with love of course). To me, all of these tendencies are connected and consistent for his character. Zayne keeps trying to give MC a way out because he genuinely wants her to be happy, but also because he struggles to believe that she would choose him if she had every option available.

I think MC recognized this pattern of Zayne’s since at this point she already knew him very well but she was still justifiably frustrated with him:

“You never say the words I want to hear the most.”

“You keep saying you want me to have choices, that you want to give me a way out.”

“But sometimes, if the path you offer seems endless… the person you care for might just run and never look bac.k.”

I have always loved Zayne’s MC and she is probably my favorite MC in this game. In ‘Snowy Serenity’, she said something similar at some point to him “When will you finally say something I want to hear?” as she was feeling rightfully upset with him putting himself in danger, being vague with his feelings and keeping her in the dark (at least at that point in their relationship). In this memory,I think she expressed this frustration with Zayne with a lot more gr.owth and maturity than she did in SS. Not that I think what she said in SS was wrong or how she said it was not justified. What stood out to me is that MC doesn’t just argue with Zayne this time. Because she understands him, better than before, she recognizes the pattern behind his actions and is able to articulate exactly why it hurts her, even when he has her best intention at heart. In SS, her frustration felt more reactive. Here, it feels like she finally understands the root of the problem.

The more I thought about this memory, the more I felt that the 'prejudice' in the story was that Zayne did not believe MC could fall for him, and it took him a long time to see past that. It wasn't directed toward MC at all. It was directed toward himself. Zayne had already convinced himself that MC couldn't possibly choose him, and that belief shaped many of his decisions throughout the story. Beyond this memory, Zayne has always given me the impression that he doesn’t think he deserves love, or that he deserves MC (likely because of how their relationships always ended in tragedy in other timelines), which breaks my heart every time I think about it. And this might be why the confrontation scene is so important. MC isn't just frustrated that he's being difficult. She's frustrated because she understands exactly why he's doing it and wishes he could see himself the way she sees him.

For Zayne, this kind of push was necessary for him to reach that point where he could finally express his love despite all the fear and uncertainty, which led to the kindled scene. I absolutely LOVE the kindled! So gorgeous and filled with a lot of iconic Pride and Prejudice scenes: Zayne walking out of the mist, the hand clench, MC kissing his hand and the forehead nudging. Zayne was so adorably nervous and shy and finally got the courage to ask MC to renew their encouragement. We also got to see a glimpse of their Happy Ever After in this movie before they returned to their real life in Linkon city, and seeing Zayne smile so much makes my heart so happy. It was such a sweet scene that I could not stop smiling the whole way through. And can we talk about how stunning the cinematography is: picture-perfect scenery, great blend of the first and third-person perspective, the carriage and even the NPC being clearly modeled, and the overall aesthetics being so well-done and fitting for the time period.

I would say that I wish there was at least a scene between after MC confronted him and ran away and before the kindled. I think it would be nice to see his reactions to what MC said or even his inner thoughts and feelings: fear, desperation, hesitance, struggle, anything really so that we could see how he came to decide to go after MC. In ‘Snowy Serenity’, we could see a lot of Zayne’s vulnerability in the cutscene and the pay-off with him telling MC he needed her and kissing MC with so much emotion later was amaz.ing. I think ‘D&D’ needed something similar like that, even if not animated. Some texts and his reactions would help a long way to connect those 2 scenes more smoothly.

When Zayne and MC got bac.k to Linkon city, he was able to retain his memory during his time in the movie. MC also noted that even without his memories, he still made choices that the movie’s protagonist never would have made when he met her. The memory ended with Zayne saying how happy he would be if MC would choose to be with him when he first saw him. It amazes me how consistent Zayne is - no matter what timeline he is in, with or without his memories, he still stays true to his core values as a character and can’t help falling for MC everytime. That’s so unbelievably sweet!

Overall, I really adore ‘Dawn and Devotion’. It’s a sweet and romantic card with a fun premise that brings bac.k the early relationship dynamic, and it also shows once again the love Zayne and MC have for each other, with a lot of understanding and gr.owth, especially on MC’s part. 🩵

I’ve read Zayne’s new free 4-star memory ‘Blooming Hour’ twice today and I LOVE it so so so much!!! I have really enjoyed his 4-star memories in general and I had high expectations for this one since his previous free 4-star was really touching and emotional to me. And BH really gave me a mix of emotions. 🥺

The first half of the memory was so sweet and wholesome. I was smiling the whole time: the cute date idea of watching a rereleased movie together in a private movie theater, going to the film location, Zqyne and MC recreating a movie scene with him catching her when she climbed over a wall, then actually watching the movie together in their own little theater, etc. So much like rom-com and I was so happy for our Zaynie and MC!!! 🥹

When they got to the end of the movie and Zayne talked about the loneliness as a form of happiness, it felt bittersweet and got me nervous for a second. Then we got to the part when MC gives Zayne her love letter. I love that the love letter for him was never read out loud in the memory. Such a smart move on the writing team choice because everyone will have different love letters to Zayne, and of course we know he will accept and appreciate our letters no matter what. Not only Zayne accepted MC’s love letter, he gave us 2 of his own letters: one from 10 years ago, one from 2 days ago and actually read them both…. I was speechless from this point to the end. Tbh I don’t think I’m eloquent enough to describe his speech: it’s not just a confession, not just a promise or a vow - it’s even more than making a statement that will etch in his and our memories for a lifetime. Look at how far our relationship with Zayne has come to and how much gr.own he has had as a male lead. 🩵

Zayne, we will always be together! 😭😭😭

Frankly, I was amazed that they made this memory a free one because I thought it felt like a follow-up to ‘Holding Autumn’ (one of my favorite Zayne’s Promise cards!) but maybe because both of them have similar vibe is why they didn’t make BH another Promise card for Zayne. And if this had made into a 5-star memory, it would emotionally wrec.k me and I would absolutely love it! I could totally see them animate the scene where Zayne and MC stand outside among the snowcherry trees, MC gives him her love letter, and then Zayne gives her his and it could end with them in each other’s embrace before the last bit to end the memory. I imagine it may be a bit similar to the kindled of ‘Fragrant Possession’ (visuals wise) but they could do something that is visually distinct but still just as romantic and heart warming if they had decided to make an kindled scene for BH. Though I think it would feel more like a 2024 or 2025 solo than 2026 solo given how the solos for this year have been portrayed in the trailers.

BH is so special that I will reread it a few more times 🩵

One of the things I really like about Zayne’s Silent Underflow is that we gotta learn more about Shubai, Shiqi and the Baize species! When Zayne seemed kinda jealous and didn’t want MC to sleep with Shiqi, I thought that was funny but didn’t think much beyond that at first. Later I looked up some discussions online and talked to another player, and it seems that Shubai is likely the same Baize species with Shiqi and others. When the Baize species are young, they must be like Shiqi and can only take on human form like Shubai when they are fully gr.own or mature enough. Shubai and Shiqi have white hair and other Baizes look like Shiqi so it’s likely that they are all essentially the same species, just at different ages. In certain Chinese adaptations, Baize can transform between the human form and the beast form so I think it’s possible for sth similar here. I wonder if we will ever see Shubai transform bac.k to his beast form? And I think this makes sense why Zayne seemed jealous because although Shiqi and other Baize may look like cute young dogs, they are actually not that young and can look like a kid like Shubai. They are also boys so MC would probably feel different cuddling with them if she knew the truth. Zayne really knows a lot more than he tells us 👀

I just finished reading Zayne’s Silent Underflow and have some initial thoughts.

The MoF references were obvious before the banner but I was not expecting many details in this memory that took me by surprise in the best way. Shubai and Shiqi were here and they were basically the reason why Zayne and MC went to this village where Zayne was asked to officiate the Sacred Tree ceremony. When Zayne came out in his MoF attire, I got so emotional. I haven’t read his second myth in a while (and I probably should reread it), but I didn’t expect the lingering bitterness and heartbreak from the ending of that myth would rush bac.k to me when I saw Master of Fate Zayne here in a current timeline memory, and I almost burst into tears. So many lore callbac.ks to the point that made me wonder if his next myth could be related to MoF? Or this memory simply serves as a Happy Ending for the MoF myth? Just as Iceborn Warmth feels like a Happy Ending for Foreseer? Maybe we will have a similar HE one next year for GoA? 😭

The memory has a lot of fun and sweet ZaynexMC moments, and the spice is a perfect complement to the story progression, at least to me. Overall this one feels very intimate imo and I love it more than I expected. I favorited so many lines and some of my favorites are “I am not a God. I am Zayne” 🥹 and the last line when MC said she would hold the umbrella for Zayne this time 😭😭😭

I only read this memory once and want to reread it later to catch anything I may have missed. Overall I am enjoying this banner so far. Maybe the event story will have more lore references for Zayne which I am looking forward to 🩵
