I know many people on here used to work on Babel Audio’s English Generalist project, where they held 15-minute conversations on various topics that were recorded (I was one of those people). When that project ended, I was having trouble finding similar ones (audio/voice rather than data annotation). Fortunately, I recently identified one: Boxlyx. Hi there, hope everyone is well. I completed the Starter Assessment and two Qualifications for Data Annotation 10 days ago. On my second qualification there were 10 questions. They said they'd e-mail me if I got approved, and I haven't heard back yet.
Should I assume I got rejected after 10 days of no contact? Or should I wait a bit longer? I've seen some posts on here saying that if you didn't have 17 questions on your qualifications you didn't pass.
Hi everyone, posting here because I'm hoping I can get some help with a laptop issue. I touched some buttons on my keyboard and all of a sudden my display changed. Specifically, it narrowed on my laptop screen so that there are black bars on the top and bottom. It looks like I'm watching a widescreen movie, haha. I've included a screenshot so you can see what I mean.
I don't think this has anything to do with display resolution or scaling, as my laptop is set to the recommended numbers. Has anyone encountered a situation like this before, and if so, can you advise me on what I need to do (I don't know what buttons I pressed)? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
