The author Violet is incredibly vulnerable in her depiction of the CEO beating Maria the animatronic AI. It was reminiscent of how revered the help and form of a woman is. The sexism of different digital voices - such as Siri - having the voice of a woman is an imminent threat to womankind. Then Siri takes physical form as Maria. We’re objectified into mothers, assistants, confidants and therapists…. Thank you Violet for how far in >!you!< went.

I feel something keeping me back from doing it, but I need it to go away so I can just d*e already

I have INSANE baby fever. For context, I live in America and I’m a 24 year old female. The other BIG detail… I don’t even have someone that I trust enough to have a child with… I just seriously have baby fever really really BAD. Has anyone dealt with this??? I want to build a family, but it is so horrifically difficult and expensive, especially since I am returning to college. Finding the right person is also frankly… a damn chore. I feel crazy… even guilty for wanting this, but I can’t hold it in.
