It's kind of funny to me how weird Bob and Wades actual first names sound when you say them like that, somehow it just has a completely different energy.

Mark doesn't really have an equivalent of this unless he went by his middle name Edward like Wade does

I finished designing the Distracti-coin (main change from previous post is color swapping the green to red on the Unfair side) and just received them in the mail!

If I ever run into Bob or Wade in the wild (I live in Cincinnati and go to several of the places they've mentioned on the pod) it will make for an interesting and memorable Bounty Coin Flip. Or if they see this and DM me. Whatever happens, happens. 🤷

One of my favorite parts of Distractible is hearing unfair and the hijinks that ensue. Tried to replicate the speach bubble text "objection!" from Ace Attorney.

I know I’m late on the actual anniversary but I wanted to say thank you, Bob, Mark, and Wade. Over the past five years, Distractible has been a constant for me.

My first episode was Dating Advice while on my 6 hour drive to move in to my freshman year of college. Since then I’ve been hooked and have been an avid listener (I know, I know). Over the past five years a lot has changed for me.

After my freshman year, my mother past away from terminal cancer. During my junior year, my father passed away from a sudden heart attack. I changed my major. It took me 5 years to graduate with my degree. I’m currently trying to break into the film industry. But through all of it, Distractible has been the one constant thing for me.

Every Monday when I didn’t feel like going to class, I’d put in my earbuds while walking to my 8am and smile because of you guys. Every road trip back home to help with both my parents passing was made a little easier because I was smiling and laughing the whole drive, even when stuck in stand still traffic. So I just wanted to say thank you.

Mark, thank you for inspiring me to chase my dream of being a filmmaker. I’ve loved listening to your journey through Iron Lung and hope to one day work with you on a project.

Bob, thank you for restoring my faith in what it means to be a good dad. Your journey with James has reopened my mind to maybe having kids one day. I hope he grows up to appreciate you and all you do for him.

Wade, thank you for your wisdom and philosophy. It truly is fascinating to listen to you go on and on about moral and ethical dilemmas with the boys.

Thank you to the editors for making the visual gags audible when the boys are too in a bit to remember not everyone is watching.

I'm not sure if Bob would've got the reference. I'm not even sure if Mark remembers doing that lol. But I wanted it.

I got my scary tape today, decided to have a scary wall! I absolutely love this stuff (also included scary merch and ship of teeseus I also got)

Today I learned that "Uncle Charlie" is a candy-carrying clown animatronic originally released by Spirit Halloween in 2010, but released again in 2020. Even Wade's Candy Uncle is stolen
