Update on the Soarin logo

I posted recently a kind of test render I did. I decided to finalize my idea.

I loved the original Soarin's 3D logo, and I think the newer png animations feel a bit lazy. I wanted to create something with a bit more life, that also brought the modern logo to life like the original did. I was inspired by the Epcot version of the Soarin' Over California preshow, which featured a CGI version of the newer logo. Since it was made in 2005 it is pretty rough. The yellow arch just kind of appears and the paper plane flies in a circle.

I had the idea to make the yellow arch a contrail, and have the plane reveal the subtext of each version of the attraction. I wanted this to be something that helped unify the ride so that it could hypothetically be used for future overlays.

Hopefully, I've made something that actually satisfies that idea.

Is this better than the floating png animation for the soarin preshow

My idea here was that the subtext of each overlay can appear when the paper plane covers the camera for one frame, but the animation could be reused for all three overlays

Favorite villain dynamic that's like this? Where the secondary antagonist is WORSE than the main one.
