Been playing since 2.3, never had a YPYT or an enabling healer before. Expert roulette btw, but yeah I’m the cringe one lol
Red: me, RPR
Blue: Tank, GNB
Green: healer, can’t remember class lol
Edit: dungeon was silent up until last boss, the second half of the interaction happened after last boss, that’s why there’s 2 pictures. I cut out the tomestone drops, gil rewards, and loot rolls.
Edit 2, 4 hours after posting: Hi so this is getting a lot more attention than I thought it would and I’m being a bit overwhelmed by comments so let me clear some things up if you would let me.
Yes the tank was taking aggro from me when I brought the mobs to him, but apparently it was an issue that I was running ahead at all. This was not brought up at all the entire dungeon until the very end at the final boss gate and I was only given maybe 2 seconds to reply before the boss was pulled and I didn’t want to lose DPS time by replying, hence my quick and snarky comment to the healer.
The tank and healer were not new and neither was the other DPS who was silent the whole time. They did not watch a cutscene upon loading in and no one piped up saying they were new. If they had I would have hung back like I normally would with new people and let the tank set the pace; but as it was, the tank was pulling W2W and the healer was keeping up no problem anyway so I was under the impression that I was helping them by allowing them to stay in place and bring the mobs to them. Also some people seem to think that I was pulling bosses ahead of the tank? I was not and have never done that my entire 10+ years of playing, I always wait for tanks to pull bosses. I was under the impression that grabbing trash mobs to pull to tanks was an okay thing to do, guess I was wrong.
I return energy that I am given, I’m old and I’m snarky, sorry. If you’re going to come at me and try to explain a game to me like I’m a child and it’s my first day alive on earth, I’m going to be a c*nt back, sorry.
