Glorious noon at Clearwater Beach - May 2026

Had such a relaxing time catching on some reading of my favourite book, having coconut shrimps and lobster rolls and taking in the relaxing vibe of the beach on a not so busy weekday. The waters were calm, was a little bit too hot for my liking :) but did manage to dip in the beach back and forth for some respite from the heat. Had to leave early so I missed the sunset !

Had the most horrible dream and found this sub!

my first post here. I had a very bad dream.. I dont know exactly how but I got wounded on my fourth finger with a sharp blade and the wound wouldn’t heal even when I kept the finger below fast flowing cold water for quite a long time.

When I say the wound wouldn’t heal I mean I could see through the tiny hole it made within the finger ! and it was a horrible mass of yellowish red something that I can’t get over now! I usually sleep immediately after bad dreams but I’ve been up since an hour in the middle of the night as I am terrified of what I saw and I could feel how I was constantly crying I couldn’t breathe !

I am a perfectly healthy 39 year old in a happy household with no recent medical incidents or conditions - what does this mean ? The other day I dreamt about going to some grocery store located on a very high 50 foot raised platform and on returning you had to get off the ladder midway and jump to your death! I’ve never had back to back dreams this bad

My first visit to EPCOT, my first ride at Disney and it was none other than Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. A backstory about me - I DO NOT find coasters thrilling but my husband was insisting on this one so I gathered up the courage to try it out.

What kind of a ride was this ??? It is so hard to explain it to someone who hasn’t been on it! Right from the get go I knew something wasn’t right , I was scared as hell and freaking out BUT I instantly forgot about my fear and started enjoying it before I got terrified again and in the whirlpool of a ride as this some random songs started playing and it was all so dark in there I didn’t know what position I was in!

What a freaking psychotic nightmarish enjoyable and wild experience was this??? I must credit the creators of this ride for making it the most unique out of all coasters Ive ridden and I‘m not even a fan of Guardians or coasters in general!

Overall when I look back - It was AMAZINGGG!

Loved all the parks but enjoyed some more than the others! Favourite ones from top to bottom in the order below and if I had to pick only one ride would do:

  1. Animal Kingdom (very surprising as it was the bottom one for me before the visit), best ride - Avatar FOP
  2. Magic Kingdom (it’s picture perfect!) , best ride - TRON lightcycle
  3. EPCOT (loved the theme), best ride - Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind
  4. Hollywood Studios (found it okayish compared to the others), best ride - Star Wars Rise of Resistance

We managed to do all the popular rides with an average wait time of 30-50 mins which was really good as the parks weren’t as busy this week. Had a great time and totally enjoyed our trip!
