ID Help please!

Hello! Hoping to see y’all’s thoughts on ID’s. I’m new to scindapsus and tbh these look near identical to me. I bought “A” as a Silver Splash and “B” is labeled as a Silver Cloud (which I disagree with lol). Thanks!

Cat Sneezing

Hello! Seeking out any advice/answers as I’m really struggling with helping my girl. Apologies for the long post, my cat has had a long few months with lots of changes.

For some background, my cat Hazel is: 7F, domestic shorthair, 9.2 lbs (was 10.2 on 4/3/26 and has been losing weight), spayed. She has been over-grooming/barbering for about 6 ish months now. She was put on a hydrolyzed food on 2/10/2026 and is still on it, which does not seem to help her barbering. She was only eating hydrolyzed food up until about 4/17/26, which she then did eat some non hydrolyzed wet food for a few weeks (still had hydrolyzed dry food)- her sister was diagnosed with cancer (tumor in her bronchial) and so for her last month, we would give her any wet food that she’d eat (friskies, fancy feast, etc). We did euthanize her on 5/8, so Hazel has been back on hydrolyzed wet and dry food since then. She ate the wet food for a while and then decided she hates it and will not eat it anymore.

I took her to the vet on 5/20/26 as her barbering is getting worse and she has been losing weight (she did have a yearly checkup in March and we have been watching her barbering for 6 months so this was not a new thing for my vet). My vet did an x-ray and ultrasound. She let me know that she saw part of Hazels bowel is inflamed, and she thinks it’s IBD and also that Hazel had a low grade fever (1° above normal). Since the hydrolyzed food doesn’t seem to be helping, we are looking to find a food that will help her. She got a prednisone (sp?) steroid shot, a flea and tick med and was sent home. I was looking into a limited ingredient food to start her on, and chose Instinct LID Rabbit dry/wet food and picked it up. I have been slowly transitioning it into her food starting 5/23/26. She seems to like it. However, she started sneezing on 5/23 as well. It was very infrequent and only 2 or 3 sneezes, but has been getting worse and more frequent each day. I did call my vets office today and am waiting to hear back on what to do next.

I am going out of town next week so she will be with my mom for 2 weeks, which is a huge reason why I’m panicking about everything that’s going on. So I guess my questions /advice I’m seeking is this:
-is there a chance the food is causing the sneezing or is it more likely to be like a virus/respiratory/something not related to the food?
-if you’ve had experience with an IBD cat, what kind of foods/supplements/anything really did you find to help?
-she’s been losing weight which I am tracking- is there something I can do to help with this alongside finding a food that will help?

I’m at a loss for what to do and am so overwhelmed with this plus grieving the loss of her sister. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
