Currently converting my Ultra Marines into the way better colour scheme of the sons of the phoenix.

I've got about 6 fully completed and 12 primed and ready to be painted. Then another 25 miniatures which need to be primed and loads more that need to be built. Most from the new Armageddon box.

I also need to buy some candles and other items I can add to them but for the meantime I'm just focusing on the painting.

Anyways any tips and tricks are always welcome, thanks for reading.

After finishing Horus rising last month and really enjoying it, so much in fact I read it in four days, I couldn't resist buying the rest of them instead of waiting for the saga premium edition to come out.

That's pretty much my reason for buying all these books.dan wrote such a good first book he has practically forced me to buy some more😭

I'm not sure if I got scammed buying these books, I don't know if there are any Horus heresy book pricing masterminds that know if I got a good deal (paid £200 for the 21books).

Anyway I was already struggling with the idea of reading all the other books I had before getting these but I'll get through them eventually.

Finally I'm pretty sure that June of last year I brought my first Warhammer book being the end and the death part 1 so I think it's kinda fitting that I finally get some more of the hh started.

(that will take me ages to get to)

A few pictures of my black templars I've slowly been working on over the course of the year.

I've still got two more to make and two more to paint so I just wanted to make this post to get some tips to make them better.

If you're wondering I used a box of intercessors and the black templar upgrade box to customise them, which is my first time doing this as all my other space marines are ultra marines because I was too worried about straying from the box art. However I think they came out pretty ok.

The bases are 3D printed with some of the skulls from the 40k skull box which I'm not 100% happy with so I don't think I'll use them again.

Anyway any tips are much appreciated 🫡
