Was loading in my truck Wednesday night while it was over a hundred degrees. I lost so much water within an hour and ended up getting dizzy.

The full-time manager let me go into the cooling zone which is literally just the Office of Management and the supervisors. It was so incredibly cozy and cold in there and you can just hear the supervisors chilling inside of the other office next door.

While us workers outside have to breathe in heavy heat and meet their quotas... Is it really so much to ask for any type of central air whatsoever to at least get some viable circulating air or do they literally just not give a fuvk about us at all?

I already know the answer to that but I was just so shocked when I got into that office and I was met with air you can actually breathe without feeling distressed...

What's your favorite entertainment to help pass the time during your shifts? It kind of gets boring listening to music every day.

When it was still chilly out and I was wearing my hoodie I would rubber band my phone to my wrist and watch YouTube while loading trucks but I can't do that on my bare skin now plus it's starting to get hot.

So I was thinking maybe I should get into some audiobooks. So what do you guys do to entertain yourself through your shifts?

Been loading trucks for 2 and 1/2 years.
