We're bringing 1 year old and 3 year old for birthday and will be staying at the Florida hotel. Never been to the park so don't know what to expect at all. Give me all tips and advice to make this a great experience for them but also not stress inducing for us lol. Thanks in advance!
So maybe I'm overthinking this whole thing but I just realized I don't really have friends anymore. I am 29, and ever since I started focusing on building a family and getting married I think I just slowly drifted further apart from my old friends who were interested in going completely different areas in life than I was to the point that I am now basically alone. I have a few work friends that I am cordial with but no real friends to hang out with on the regular or do things with you know?
I have a 3 and a 1 year old and my wife. They mean so much to me and basically all of my free time is spent with them and I love it and don't want that to change- but I realized today I don't have friends anymore. Upon thinking further, I realized friends are immensely valuable, and when I was growing up my parents had plenty of friends. These friends also had kids and become my close friends which helped form me and gave me tons of rich experiences to look back on. I think I am failing my family by NOT having friends and I want that to change. Anyone have any ideas and insight? Or am I thinking too hard about this? I think I don't really know how to make deep friendships at this stage of life to be totally honest.
First I had an office and many had cubicles. Then we started hybrid work from home. Now they are moving us to a new office that is open office concept. There are only 6 offices, everyone else in the department will be in the open floor office. I’m definitely not looking forward to this.
Aside from good noise canceling headphones does anyone have any tips that can help make the experience more tolerable? Thanks in advance
