Planning to conceive soon, any tips or advice?

As the title says above, I just want to get insights from those of you who were able to conceive. What were the preparations that you did? Any supplements/vitamins? Maybe tests I need to bring up to our dr? Nutrition we should focus on for hubby? Or just anything else that could help us?

My husband (33) and I (just turned 30) are planning on conceiving within a year or two before it's too late for me. But before that, we really want to get in the best shape we can and get our bases covered before we start trying. Eating healthy and losing weight is part of it: Hubby really gained weight since we moved in together but he's losing some now due to his medication that stops his binge eating. On the other hand, my weight fluctuates due to PMOS. I've been losing some in the past few months but still far from my ideal weight which is 115-125 (currently at 140-ish lbs, 5ft).

Currently, we're looking to get his kidney stones and bladders checked. He passed a stone a year ago. Not on any vitamins or supplements but he recently started Vyvanse for his ADHD. He's also smoking weed/weed vape pen which we're aware that it could influence his sperm. He's a bit of a picky eater too hahaha

So there we go, we could definitely use some advice! Thanking you guys in advance!

Where and how do I start?

My husband (33) and I (just turned 30) are planning on conceiving within a year or two before it's too late for me. But before that, we really want to get in the best shape we can and get our bases covered before we start trying. Eating healthy and losing weight is part of it but how do I start? It's easier said than done, but I'm slightly getting overwhelmed with what to do and how to do it. And with the amount of stuff I see online of what not to do or eat, it's confusing me even more haha As for physical exercise, I've been sedentary for the past few months because I was so focused with my immigration paperwork.

Right now, I'm at a stay at home wife so I have time for exercises. I'm currently looking into starting walking again everyday and gradually add at-home pilates in my routine, then hopefully an actual in-studio experience.

So any tips? Maybe I should look into meal prep recipes, or fresh juices or shots? What kind of nutrition should I focus into: fiber? protein? Being sedentary for a long time, how do I start working out?

To the women who was able to conceive despite the PMOS diagnosis, how did you do it?

Help! Turntable set

Hi everyone! Need help! The audio technica turntable bundle i bought wasn't shipped out on time (ordered it from Amazon but not from AT storefront). This will be a gift for my mil. She badly wanted one for awhile now, she's not too tech savvy so I just want something that would be easier for her to use. Preferably an all-in-one, or just a turntable+speaker combo (that won't need complicated setup). So now, I'm on the hunt for a new one. Not too I have found a few options though, I just Her birthday is next week already so time is of the essence. It needs to be delivered before Tuesday next week. Budget is 300.

Here are a few options i found. Hope you guys can give your two cents:

  1. Philips Record Player + Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers
  2. Audio-Technica AT-LP60X - I'm just worried that this won't be delivered on time
  3. Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-BK Fully Automatic Belt-Drive + Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers

I'd really appreciate any insights.
