Getting first street bike

So im used to a 450 ktm 2 stroke dirt bike grew up dirtbiking starting out from a lil baby Honda . So I have alot of experience there. I've been going through looking at tons of bikes and options. (Financing as much as everyone says don't do it ) budget is under 12k-5k range. I just want something I can take care of from day 1 and don't have to worry about someone that abused it and having to replace a bunch of parts and stuff for a while. Already got strada 3 helmet alpine star boots and full gauntlet gloves from cycle gear. Still need jacket and pants (cant decide from heavy duty or lightweight ). I really like the sportsbike 650 series Kawasaki or r7 yamaha seem to be calling me. 30 male here clean driving record so insurance shopping before purchasing will be a huge factor. I know naked bikes are like a in-between of sports and cruiser. Any good tour bike I've seen is like 20k tho. Is there any suggestions almost debating about a z6xr ninja and respecting the bike and the mode settings while learning. I've heard it's worth upgrading windshield of Supersports for hwy speeds and making sure to add a cage for riding or pegs if learning to stunt. Also would lovd to make some friends so not just riding solo. All my time goes to working and being a dad so I got no social life
