I have a floating line , sinking leader , then my tippet but I’m in a time crunch and want to fish Dry flies before I can get to the tackle shop and get a floating leader , can I tie tippet straight to my fly line ?

Does anybody have a contact or know if club permission is needed to fish the River bride around castlelyons/rathcormac area.
Or if anyone has other river suggestions around East cork for trout on the fly would be much appreciated .
