My mini PC recently got stuck in a boot loop and I’m currently waiting to hear back from a repair shop what’s wrong with it. I’m told it’s either a software issue where a recent windows update made my SSD “invisible”, or a hardware issue where the SSD is just broken and needs to be replaced. Either way, I’ll have to reinstall the OS when I get it back.

I’m using an AceMagician AMR5, which I know isn’t super powerful, but I don’t need it to be. I use it to game, but really, the most demanding game I’m running is maybe Minecraft.

What is the recommended OS for people with low tech knowledge (though I’m decent at troubleshooting) but doesn’t want windows. Thanks!
