Hello! I scheduled an appointment at PGH Psychiatry, it's just for triaging on the portal right now. However, I'm concerned because I'm only 18 and I’m wondering if I need a guardian? I really don’t want to bring either my mom or dad, I'm scared of being judged and getting scolded after I receive my diagnosis. I've been dealing with recurring thoughts of self-harm, low mood, and it's been affecting my health for the past 5 years, it’s like on and off—some weeks or months I’m fine and then suddenly it all turns dark again.
Also, what's the process like on the day of the appointment? Like the blue card or white card (?) which building and which line should I queue in. Thank you to whoever answers :))
