What Back End Flash Tune is best for DAILY driving; vote if you have an opinion, back it up in the comments. Looking to add mild burbles, but nothing else crazy; I drive 93/Map 2; the rest of the build is your standard BMS FBO (HPS intakes, HKS plugs, Worms Coils, BMS Charge Pipes and Intercooler, NGT High Flow 400-Cell Primaries and Catless Secondaries, boost managed by the JB4 Pro)
Looks great and install was a breeze. The rear diffuser is gonna take a little more time.
My Ali Adro has arrived, three months after ordering. Roughly one month for fabrication, one month to leave China factory and arrive in NY via ocean, and a month for the inland import/clearance and mostly “last mile delivery” from NYC ports to about 2 hours west in PA.
Just a temporary post; I’ll update when it’s all installed (it’s gonna take a weekend as I’m doing IC and CPs at the same time).
Why isn’t there one?!? It’d be awesome to get the gauges up on the screen in the car instead of on my phone.
I did make an automation shortcut that launches the JB4 app anytime I connect to CarPlay, and I have a wireless CarPlay adapter. So basically when I get in my car and put my phone on the magnetic charging stand, as long as it’s unlocked, within a few moments of starting up my car it’ll launch the app and be on the JB4 dashboard screen by the time I put it in gear.
BMS Intercoolers are back in stock. Just ordered the last of my bolt ons; IC and Charge Pipes (I’m running 93, so didn’t buy the CPI kit at this point in time).
Current build (including just ordered parts):
PNP Snorkels
HPS Intakes
ADDW1 Pro BOVs
JB4 Pro
HKS Spark Plugs
Worms Racing Ignition Coils
NGT High-Flow 400 Cell Primaries
NGT Catless Secondaries
BMS Charge Pipe
BMS Intercooler
I think the last performance mod I’ll make is getting a BEF ECU Tune, and possibly TCU tune. Then it’s onto wheels/suspension, maybe PPF, finishing the aero kit, and saving the Borla Exhaust for last.
My son said something about drones once; so I researched it, and this sub put me on getting him a radio master, a whoop, and whatever FPV goggles these are. Holy airball. Anyway - what’s this worth if I try to sell it on a bundle, and any suggestions on where? eBay, elsewhere?
Just saw this on TikTok (@King_car01) - since when did Injen have CF shrouds/heat box that took it all the way to the air intakes in the grille? Now I’m pissed that I got HPS over Injen, does anyone know what part this is?
Got my NGT Performance downpipes installed last week. I live in PA and got the high flow (400-cell) primaries, and the catless secondaries. Thank god I didn’t try to do this myself like OMG Builds tries to make it look possible. My installer had a helluva time, with a stud breaking on both sides, and ultimately unfixable in the final install; thankfully it was the middle of the three closely spaced bolts, and the 3 are holding fine with no leaks on either side.
The smell is gonna take me a little while to get used to, but the sound is pretty good. I think this will de-prioritize a Borla exhaust for me, and I’ll use that theoretical $2k on more performance mods (IC, Trans Cooler, Charge Pipes, CPI, and BEF).
Here’s the much requested cold start. Let me know what you think.
Took off the Manifold and did the spark plugs (HKS, 0.22” gap), Worms Ignition Coils, and the JB4 Pro today.
Anyone else running the JB4 Pro, anyone have any tips to share?
Anyone ever buy these in bulk on Amazon? I’m sick of overpaying for replacements at AutoZone when I lose the middle part or break one completely. Would appreciate a link
When routing the ODBC cable from the inside of the car through the firewall - y’all just went around / outside of the rubber boot, right? Or did you route it differently?
I’m looking for input or recommendations on building a reliable tuned daily driver. I’ve already got HPS intakes, ADDW1 BOV’s and PNP snorkels, and will soon be adding the JB4, HKS plugs, and Worms ignition coils. I’m not chasing Dyno numbers, I don’t want to run E85 (or 93 for that matter), just looking to have a fun but reliable daily that pulls nicely and sounds great… and oh yeah, I also pulled the trigger on the NGT high flow primaries and catless secondaries. ChatGPT is recommending Map 1, and also suggests I upgrade the intercooler, which would probably lead me to doing the BMS Intercooler and Charge Pipes - but that would be later, like 2027, cuz this round of mods cost way too much already.
Any JB4 / mapping / tuning tips from the community would be greatly appreciated to help me dial in a reliable but impressive daily sleeper build.
Are pictures down? Posts that used to have pictures don’t have them anymore… added a pic to this one to see what it looks like once I hit Post.

Anyone have an Adro Disc code they’re not using? I need to get the side skirts, but $1,150 hurts.
PM me, or reply and I’ll PM you.
I don’t like the “chunky” all black wheels, and chrome doesn’t work because I did the chrome delete. I’m torn between bronze and two-tone wheels. What are the subs thoughts on best wheels for the Alta White G70? Also - I’m a middle aged man, not a 20 yr old kid, so I need a grown up look. The attached are mockups.
How are Returnal vets laying out the controls? The default Returnal controls were holding me back, and once I switched to Jump on L1 and Dash on R1, I started making serious progress (Melee on a face button fwiw). The shield mechanic in Saros seems pretty important though, but so is mobility (jumping and dashing). So how are y’all laying out or optimizing your controls?
Let’s see your results with the viral prompt, I had to add the trim level (3.3T Sport Prestige), and I’ve gotta come back tomorrow to ask it not to crop those two small pics in the background so much. Here’s the prompt:
