affordable laptop recommendations

I can't afford a pc especially with prices going up these days. Thinking about gifting myself a laptop for gaming alone. Im fine with buying it secondhand. Can anyone recommend laptops that are preferably under 20k and can comfortably play these games:

- Sims 4 (with a lot of mods and expansions)

- Sims 3 with a lot of expansions

- GTA IV

- Maybe GTA 5

- Sleeping Dogs

- Skyrim with all DLCs

- Most open world games really

Thoughts on investing before completing your EF?

I know the general rule is to save 3 mos worth of your monthly expenses in case of an emergency. But part of me wants to start as early as possible with my investment journey, no matter how little. I am following the 50 30 20 rule and aim to use 20% for investments and EF. I plan on dividing and regularly spending on both of these as long as it is not more than 20%.

Fantasy book recos

I've read The Hobbit since lots of people recommend it for beginners. It's a good book, and it was pretty engaging. However, I usually find myself wandering off or losing focus because of how descriptive it can be. I mean, I want to be immersed into fantasy, especially as a Skyrim lover. For context, I mostly read philosophical books, coming of age, or classics that are more reflective and deliver great psychological depth. For some reason, it grabs my attention better than a bunch of details about the environment and the people (even though it tremendously contributes to the immersion). I know it doesn't make sense, but maybe I'm looking for a book that empashizes the human experience more??? I get jealous of fantasy readers who went through an otherworldly experience through one book.

How much should I save for a triple a gaming pc in 2027?

How much should the rough estimate be? Moreover, can anyone provide tips on how I can build it cheap. I plan on learning to build by myself.

City melancholy but comforting

I fell IN LOVE with the batman animated series for this noir aesthetic. I've played chungkai express and american psycho on repeat, and now I need a new movie with this ambiance.

Help me find this leather jacket.

Preferably 2k or less po. There's one in shein but I'm worried about the quality, unless one of you actually bought a good quality one from there.

Travellers experiencing their adventures

I saw this tiktok by sincerelyjennifergrace talking about how if you want to travel the world, do so by acting like an anthropologist trying to understand the culture and people. I wanted to ask about books about people who experience different places trying to understand its world. The way the character thinks and approaches experiences may benefit and inspire me greatly on my future journeys.

DIM: Shein jackets

Been eyeing these exact styles and saw that they're way too expensive in the malls. The pictures from reviews look fine tho. Maybe you guys have other cheaper alternatives in these exact same styles?
