Nag scroll ko sa Reddit last week and I came across a discussion about whether some Cebu locals dislike Tagalog-speaking tourists. I already forgot kung unsa to na sub. Out of curiosity, I opened the thread and started reading the comments.

Honestly, I left feeling disappointed. As someone from Cebu, it was disheartening to see how many people shared similar experiences. A lot of them said they felt some locals became less accommodating or seemed annoyed once they realized they were speaking Tagalog. Others mentioned that they didn't feel welcome at all, and a few even said they regretted visiting Cebu because of how they were treated.

I’m genuinely curious—how true is this? Is it actually a common issue, or could these simply be isolated experiences that don’t represent most Cebu locals?

I would love to hear honest perspectives from both locals and tourists.

Reason:
My pc is having issues starting and randomly dying if it does manage to power on. Ive tried: cleaning it, changing monitor wires, reseating ram,changing from UPS to direct outlet (checking if its the ups tripping the pc)

Now I plan to get a intel cooler to replace stock, but also I want to check it with a professional first if simple issue ra ba ni.

To note: I didnt have this issue until I got a new monitor, so there maybe power load issues (which was why I did the ups to circumnavigate it in the first place.

Planning to take someone on a date and visit some museums. Any recommendations? Near or far from the city would be fine. Thanks!
