I am based in Canada and due first week of Feb. please let me know if anything is missing, if anything should be replaced or if anything should be added.

We are considering a Graco crib from Costco and will be purchasing diapers/wipes ourselves. I am still looking for car seats and strollers.

EDIT: thank you so much for all your feedback, I’ve read every comment! have replaced my carrier choice to the Ergobaby Embrace, I’ve also replaced the bouncer to Baby Bjorn, the bottles to Lansinoh, the manual nose cleaner to the electric Frida Baby, I’ve added the Love to Dream swaddle and a BubblePanda sleep sack, I’ve also replaced the breastfeeding pillow to My Brest Friend, I’ve added a Hatch baby sound machine & night light, the haakaa baby nail file, and switched the play mat from Baby Einstein to Fisher Price.

There were some items suggested that I’ll keep in mind for purchasing myself instead of adding to registry (ie. baby Tylenol)

I’m not sure what feeding looks like yet - the intention is to breastfeed and I have added pumps in case we are out/travelling/there’s some emergency and I am unable to feed the baby at that time. I am not sure if our insurance covers pumps but I will look into it.

I know the diaper pail, spatula and clothing are controversial items but I’ve left them on for now 😅 the spatula because it’s cheap, and the pail because our garbage does not get taken out regularly (weekly and we have a cat too, so we try to be hyper aware of managing smells in our house). Clothing is just to give someone a cheaper item to purchase since I feel like a lot of the items I have are pricy - I have chosen bigger sizes!

Thanks again, please feel free to continue to comment if you have any more suggestions!

books about parents sending money back home and causing resentment amongst children?

hi all, I am looking for a recommendation for a fictional book that explores the impact of an immigrant parent (ideally a father) sending money back to siblings and/or their families and the impact it has on their wife and/or their children.

thanks in advance!
