its a movie i remember watching a couple of times in my childhood in the early 2010s.

its about a young girl who lets out her anger about her life through violent and fantastical daydreams. she lives with her mother(/aunt maybe?) whos strict and kinda old fashioned. remember a scene where she made a girl wear a corset and she imagined the mom being attacked by a giant nutcracker. also remember a scene where she didnt want to eat raw snails (makes me think it might be some foreign film?) and instead looked outside at some birds and imagined smth happening.

it had a kinda neutral colour palette and was a little artsy i think

i was rlly scared of this movie as a kid but it also kinda intrigued by it so id really like to find it

so i havent been able to access tumblr on browser for a few months now. whenever i try it goes into an endless "checking your browser, this will only take a few seconds..." but ive let it run for half an hour with nothing. thought leaving it be would help but clearly not -_- i have disabled ad blocker and tried getting in without it being linked to my account tho nothing there as well. mobile app works fine but i do like using it on my laptop more... any advice?
