What are the brown spots on the fronds? From the research I’ve done they’re spores? Could I harvest them and make new little babies?

The shield has gone all brown aswell and I do not see any new sprouts! There’s multiples layers of shield all dead behind this one.
Can I trim it? Can I look for new growth?
I soak it once a week w my fish tank water during water changes and a little fertilizer.

This is my first staghorn and my hardest plant to care for so far!
Is the shield still alive n what not!

Uns 90u ideas?

HOW WOULD YOU SET THIS UP. WHAT FISH, WHY WHAT PLANTS, WHY WHAT KINDA WOOD, ROCKS, SOIL, GRAVEL OR THE IN BETWEEN.

I got this BEAUTIFULLLLL tank for such a steal, I don’t even wanna admit how much I bought it for.
But ultimately I was gonna transfer my 25 gallon(pictured w black water) into it but I think I wanna start it off from scratch.
What kind of fish can grow out big in this with a scape? The biggest I’ve had is 25 gallon.
A community tank would be cool.
But I’ve also never had a fishy over 3 inches!
Any good ideas any good knowledge would be appreciated.
I ultimately wanna make it setup like a display tank at a fish store but idk how to do that lol

Apistogramma macmasteri ( I copy n pasted that) breeding pair

I have a pair of these dwarf cichlids? I do not know a whole lot about them mainly the names people call them I guess.
I’ve had them for a good amount of time but they are in my community tank.
I have some harlequin raspboras 8
I have some khuli loaches 6
This was my first bigger tank getting into the hobby.
It’s a 25 gallon black water.

ANYWAYS
This pair I have has been actively working on making fry. Atleast once every 2 weeks they will try and spawn i believe is the correct term.
But I think the loaches and raspboras are eating the fry the second the female takes them out into the open.
She has a good cave in a piece of wood that she actively will be in for like anywhere from 2-5 days and she won’t eat during that period.
I’ve witnessed her being out some fry and stress out a crap load over the raspboras just going ham on eating them.
I have a little small 5 gallon tank that I grow out plants in on the side.

My main question I guess would be I want this pair to successfully breed. Do I take out the other fish in the tank and let them take over?
I care a lot more about them than my other fishies.
I could located them in the 5gallon as I think that would be too small for the stock of 8 raspboras and 6 khuli.
I could also look into returning them to my LFS.
Would I have good success with breeding this pair if I removed the other fish in this tank?
If so what would you recommend and how would you tackle it!

I want to build my own paludarium. But I only have aquarium knowledge.

I’ve been watching a lot of videos of people building super cool paludariums.
I myself would love to build one to put in my bedroom.
I would love to have houseplants sticking out the top along with all of the other life and creatures in the water and above.
Where would I start.
How big of a tank should I get? Should I get one with doors that open? Like a reptile tank
What materials would I need to build say a waterfall paludarium.
I ultimately would love recommendations for plants I could put of top to hang out maybe vine plants or others that can be planted in the top bit of the tank.
How expensive of a process am I looking to dig into?
Any general information is appreciated!
And maybe I’ll end up posting updates with a paludarium I have built in the future.

Springtails?

I have a chunk of wood that peaks out the top of my tank about weekly once the water evaporates enough.
This week I noticed little bugs crawling around on it!
Did a bit of research and they’re spring tails?

Any benefits to having them? Is it something I need to actively work on getting rid of?
Overall my research seems like they’re okay. And maybe an extra snack for my fish?

I just bought this off of Facebook marketplace. Definitely an impulse buy. It’s been sitting outside in the elements the previous owner said.
It was a petsmart display tank.
I’m trying to do research but can’t find much about it any help?
Is it even worth restoring or is it just trash?
It’s super big way too big to fit into any door of my house!
6 sided tank with 6 individual tanks that cascade waterfall into the next. And the lowest one drains to the sump? And then gets pumped back to the top I believe?
Who made these? I looked up MaRs and can’t find anything details on this tank.
Any general information would help thank you!
