is it a bad idea to use github to store high quality pngs of my artwork

I have a portfolio, and I'm using github as a backup/storage for all my artwork. is this a bad idea that will backfire on me? or will github keep them in their original lossless quality?

Best book about web dev for someone who already has some experience under their belt?

I already know how to program, and I've made a few websites. But there are certainly things I could do to make my websites better, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm looking for a book that can help with this. Anyone have any recommendations?

How do I keep date in front matter as just a year (like 2023) instead of Hugo converting it to a full timestamp?

I have front matter like date: 2023 but Hugo still coerces it into a time.Time, and when there's no month/day it comes out as a garbage date like Dec 31 1969. Is there a way to keep partial dates (year only, or year+month) as plain strings, or should I just use a different field name instead of date? Hugo version: v0.162.1

How long does it take you to do your workout

How long does it take you to do a workout? For ex, squat + bench press + deadlift or squat + press + deadlift. Not including warmup. It's been taking me 90 minutes on avg, idk if I'm being slow.

Guys I'm kinda confused on how I'm supposed to play this. Am I supposed to use one hand or two hands? My fingers are colliding into each other >_<

first time volunteering, i don't know if i helped anyone

I went to a nursing home to volunteer for the first time. The patient I visited was nonverbal. When I walked in she in a circle with about 15 other elderly patients around her, the nursing home staff were playing loud party music while tossing balloons around.

I felt really out of place and I didn't know what to do. I sat next to her and embroidered some designs on fabric next to her. She could not speak but there were two times were she looked at me and smiled, and at some point she reached out for the embroidery hoop and started engaging with it a little.

Was I able to help her? Did it make a difference if I was there or not? I don't know if I did anything beneficial. I didn't help the family because she was in a nursing home. I felt really uncomfortable around the staff. I don't want this post to seem like I'm making things about me, but I just want to know if I am helping anyone.
