shsat 9 test view

if anyone is interested in this information, I went to shsat 9 test view today and my scaled scores were 250 English and 264 math which turned out to be a 31/47 and a 41/47 raw scores. I also noticed that the second passage of both tests I took (shsat 8 and 9) were entirely field (and this time it was ALL of the field questions for English). I asked the facilitator of my test view about this and she also said that she’s noticed this. It might be worth noting? For example maybe a future taker could skip the second passage to save some time and come back to it at the end (in the case that this doesn’t happen).

struggling to increase english

this march i recieved a 1540 but honestly i felt like i could push for a higher score as i felt like i made some stupid mistakes in the english so i decided to take the may exam. however, i ended up recieving basically the exact same score (just misread one math q) and im so stuck on how to push english past the 750+ barrier. i even got a 740 on bluebook practice test 10. i see many posts about hitting the 700+ range in english but not many on how to push past the mid 700s. i registered for the june exam but i dont know how to study english this time so i can actually get a 750+ score. i seem to always make some random mistakes in either vocabulary or the middle questions (around q5-15) of mod 2. i review my mistakes after but still recieve similar scores after taking another mock.

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone remembered a question with the equations x + k = 0, and y + t = 0, regarding how many solutions the equation had? I had answered “There is not enough information to determine the number of solutions to the system”. However, I heard from many people that the answer was apparently one solution but I don’t recall the equation stating that k and t are constants, which I believe would be required to say there is only solution. I thought that we are unsure whether they are variables or constants, so there is not enough information. But if anybody recalls the question stating that they are in fact constants, lmk.
