I always say thanks to folks and make the 🙏 pray hsnd gesture. Same way as is common in many nations. I like doing it and it's very natural to me now. I'm just a regular old white dude BTW.

So the menu of coffees is on the wall behind the cashiers. I'm choosing what I'll have , and suddenly .... GONE!

Can be any language too. In the UK in the 90's there was loads of clothes with Japanese text (cos it looked cool) .. but it would often just be random words "late office frog"
