Im trying to change all of my cymbals... And i have decide i will buy a Meinl 21" PAC super bell ride cause i really dig the sound and the look of it but now i cant decide what cymbals to pair it with. I mainly play metal and my budget is around 1400€ including the ride. Im too indecisive for picking out expensive things

Are open rooms bad for recording and practicing? I dont have a room that has enough space for drums that isn't open so I'm wondering if that is a problem or not. Would it be good enough if I just put some sound absorbing panels on the walls and call it a day 🤔. We are primarily looking to record rock/metal.
