Bought an illustration box at a trade show today. Spent my last bit of lunch money for today and tomorrow and got this beauty 😭

Randomly opened a loose pack. Almost had a stroke thinking I hit the red manga.
But a beautiful card nonetheless.

I am getting one OP16 booster box for $180 right now, but should I buy it or not? I have never bought sealed products, and hence I come to you guys for advice.

- I will be ripping the packs so it’s not for a long term hold.
- Have opened a bunch of single packs and have had some good hits including a manga.
- Still a lot of cards left to chase, especially the SPs and Alt leaders.

It feels like the right time to buy the box considering how it has been above $200 all this time. But the concern is that I don’t wanna end up with a dead box with zero hits.

I know there’s no telling how a box will turn up without opening it, but is it worth buying now or should I get it later on? Will it get more expensive after OP17?

Sold this beauty I pulled last month from a lose pack.
Went for $1200 cash to a great guy from marketplace.

Had a lot of offers around $1k and $1.1k, but didn’t want to go that low. I have a lot of payments to take care of and Sakazuki can do at least that >!for killing Ace.!<

Also, immediately after the sale, bought a single pack OP10 and pulled a Charlotte Flampe SP.

I know that this is not a super rare or expensive collection, but I loved this design theme of white event art and wanted all 6.
Finally got them all after ripping a lot of Japanese EB02 from my LCS. This set did treat me well with the Gear 2 Manga as well.

I went to a TCG show and saw this promo pack being sold for $10. Ripped it and pulled this card.
Now I saw the star and immediately thought that this is definitely not cheap. But I can’t seem to find a good price on this.

The promo is 2025 One Piece Japanese Let’s Start Campaign Promotion Pack.
Collectr somehow only has the English version of this card.

Any help would be appreciated.
