I have medical debt ($2700+) from an appointment to get an MRI (that was medically necessary from my doctor) because my insurance plan said it didnt cover it.

I also have a handful of therapy appointments I went to and found out later my insurance denied them so I stopped going. Was getting charged about $200-$300 per appt. Managed to accumulate about $2100 there.

I genuinely cannot afford these unless i save up for months, probably more than a year and don't take any days off (I'm a contractor) and accept a payment plan which obviously I don't wanna do.

If I don't respond to them about signing up for a payment plan, it will go to collections. I live in IL, so they say it won't affect my credit score. Also I've heard others say they pay significantly less when it goes to collections since debt collectors are just trying to make SOMETHING back on it.

What do I do and what do I need to know if I let it go to Collections and save up until I can pay it off? I don't wanna get sued, I've heard the hospital can do that lol. What are the actual repercussions for not paying it off since it's not affecting my credit score?

The TLDR for this post is to ask, if I were to open another line with its own number for my Pixel Watch 3, what functionality would I meaningfully be missing besides the texts-forwarding to my SMS number??

I understand I can:

- Forward calls from my main android phone to watch's number line

- Get data on the watch and use internet-enabled apps.

- Use Google Messages and utilize the same Google Account in an attempt to replicate the message "parity" between my phone and watch that NumberShare allows)

What would be missing? I know users would see a different number when I am communicating from the watch via phone calls or text messages, but besides that, what else differs?? Any troubles when traveling internationally??

Context:

I called Verizon asking if they could activate my Pixel Watch on another line but have it share my phone's phone number (NumberShare). I basically spent an entire 8+ Hours on and off the phone trying to get this to work and at the end of the day, they basically said "It must be a Google Pixel phone". Nowhere is it ever mentioned in Verizon's documentation nor Google's own documentation that it must be a Pixel phone in order for this to work.

I called Google's own Support to verify this and they told me that I absolutely do NOT need a Google Pixel to utilize this feature with my android Nothing Phone (3).

I call Verizon back we go back in forth, we attempt to activate it with my Pixel Watch 3, and to no avail. They basically say I have 2 options: a) pair and activate the watch with a Google Pixel phone so I can take advantage of number share but I am stuck to that main cell phone now b) open a line for the watch but with it's own unique number but give up on Number Share.

Seeing as I just paid off my Nothing Phone (3), I definitely wanna keep using it as my main phone, so b) it is, but I want to know what drawbacks exist if I go down this route. Thanks.

I just got into slings and edc, and I LOVE this sling so much, but ngl this strap is the worst part about this sling. -- I would really like to see if I can pay someone to either:

1. Remove the strap and re-attach it reversed (i wear my sling strap over the right shoulder)
2. remove the strap entirely in favor of some D rings or something where I can attach a better secondhand strap (any recommendations?)

If I took this to a tailor or someone locally, would they be able to do this kind of work?? Thanks guys!
