What happens when a distribution isnt normal?

Maybe i fucked up big time, maybe not. Ill see by the end of this day. And im sorry if this is not the appropriate place to ask.

But basically, for my disertaion i applied an instrument to measure food insecurity. And my data is not normally distributed. Basically, a higher number of people who were interested in the problem (meaning, the ones who do suffer from food insecurity) answered it.

And now i have no idea how to proceed forward.

Idk if i should try to apply some tests for data that is not normally distributed (although the professors never teached it in class) or just state that this is the distribution on the instrument and... move on.

I have another instrument (about food diversity) operationalised and validated on the spot with cronbach alpha that has a normal distribution.

But still, it stresses me out a lot and i cant really get more answers to the questionaire because... well, students cannot be bothered apparently and i aint willing to _pay_ out of my pocket to get some more answers. Although, if i get desperate enough, i might just do that.

E un scam cu "politia criminala economica"?

M.am trezit cu telefon de la "un reprezentant al politiei" fiidnca ceva om are procura notariala pe numele meu si încearcă sa scoata bani din banca.

Omul s.a plictisit dupa un timp cand am refuzat sa.i trimit mesaj in privat si a închis.

What's your favourite non canon ship? (From any generation)

Personally, i know close to nothing about g1 but Rochelle and Robecca always seemed so nice together.

Initially as pure aesthetics. There is something very compelling about a gargoyle (a magic creature made of stone) and a robot (a human made product made of steel). They are both undying and unfeeling and this made it even more interesting. They are different enough to be compelling but similar enough to be credible.

Then there are the personalities. I don't know about yall, but i love my conventionally attractive women be brutally honest and my feminists gals take initiatives.

Idea for a magic girl show (opinions?)

I was procrastinating my thesis so i fooled around with ideas until something actually caught my interest. But id like to know if this sort of story is interesting/good enough before i invest more in it.

Basically, i envisioned these 5 girls who attend different domains in the same uni. And so we have:

  1. A forestry student - this girl loves nature to death but is incredibly scared of social interactions. Its fine though. She's got her plants and trees and stuff.

  2. A culinary student - chillest person alive until she gets bored and creates chaos. She could not care less if a tornado came her way but God forbid she has nothing to occupy her time with to distract her from her thoughts.

  3. A sports student - may drink with you, may use you for her bench press. Seriously though, she is a sweet girl who absolutely rocks her dresses and wears her muscles as jewelries.

  4. An engineering student - her curiosity has no limits and neither do her obessions whenever she gets interested in something. She can buid a robot in a day but will spend the week before researching the materials because she found a fun fact about copper online.

  5. A nursing student - she's smart enough to do good in her degree but not wise enough to find something to enjoy in life. She will most likely develop the best way to run a hospital before she actually smiles for a photo.

The "plot" (aka them becoming fairies) happens after an old magic tree picks them to reestablish the balance within it. The tree exists somewhere at the edge of the university's grounds and within it there is a whole magic ecosystem that is withering.

Now for the magic transformation sequence:

Our forestry girl's fairy form: her skin is made of bark and her wings of leves. (She likes to let birds make nests on her hair).

The culinary student is made of slime and can bend her body however she wants. (She likes to spend her time as a puddle).

The sports girl's skin has the armor of a bug's exoskeleton and the wings of a beetle. (She loves to see how much she can lift now).

The engineer girly is a robot. A literal robot with mechanical wings. (She loves to nibble at her limbs and new body, especially since she can actually alter it).

The nursing girl is an angel with glittery skin and fully white eyes. (She finds the slightest enjoyment in flying).

Now with thsi out of the way, i am thinking that this could be a "mission of the week" typa thing. I do believe it would fit decently. But then again, i always love my ideas, even when they may be the silliest/most boring things. So i would love some opinions.

It's my first time trying to write in the magic girl genre & I need some feedback on the characters

Basically, i am planning a story inspired by winx/witch with their whole fairy forms and magic girl concept.

But I have no idea if these characters and powers are compelling and distinct enough in the genre.

So here I go:

Girl 1: nature powers. Her skin is made out of hard tree bark and her wings of frail leaves. She is a scaredy cat who tries, to the best of her abilities, to hide and to keep herself safe. But her fairy form shows that she cannot keep the entirety of herself sheltered and some parts will be vulnerable no matter what.

Girl 2: she's basically a robot. Mechanical body and mechanical wings. She can alter her body with a bit of twiddling. She is a very curious and creative individual with a tendency to get incredibly lost in whatver catches her attention at the moment. In her fairy body, she has to learn restraint because a mechanical body means easy ways for it to get ruined by the elements.

Girl 3: she's got "food" related powers. She's got jello body and wings. There is no limit to what she can do with her body. From making herself a puddle to getting through the smallest creacks. She is a chill girl who usually gets bored and finds things to entertain herself with. This easy going nature of hers, the fact that she is never really taking a stance on anything, is exactly why her fairy body is also unable to do any actual harm. One cannot leave a mark without fully comitting to something in the first place.

Girl 4: she's a healer. From the angelic wings to her full whithe eyes and glittery skin, she is the embodyment of an angel. She is a smart but sad girl though. Its hard for her to find pleasure in life for some reason. The lack of a smile on her face makes her fairy form look more like an angel of death waiting to take you than a blessing ready to happen. Such an irony that she has it all but cannot find pleasure in it.

Girl 5: Raw power. Her body is a bug exoskeleton and her wings are those of a moth. Like a bug, she is resistent and has the ability to carry things 10 times greater than her own weight. She is an impulsive woman who is always either dealing with being called a man or being told she will never be as strong as a man. Her fairy form is how she is insignificant as a bug and yet strong enough to endure it all.

Guy 1: he is also strong. He is a macho man. He is a masculine man. This is why his fairy body is covered in tiger fur. Though, he has butterfly wings with the face of a predator on them. This guy's fairy form is the embodyment of his fragile masculinity: the body tries to look scary but the wings betray something that is seen as feminine/fragile/beutiful.

Guy 2: he loves music. When he listens to music, he becomes one with the song, with the lyrics and with the message the artist sends. This is why his fairy form is transparent. Transparent body and wings. He can become invisible. Because becoming one with the enviorment is easier than knowing who you are and what space you should occupy in the world.

Help finding a "sugar rush" fic (bts fandom)

It was a yoonmin alternate universe fic. They were all in college and yoongi was a sort of "player" (if i remember correctly he was actually cool and giving people a good time).

The only scene i remember from the fic was jimin one morning enterig a coffee (?) shop and someone asking him "sugar rush?"

(Because yes, this was a thing in the fic where people would ask the person sleeping with yoongi if they had a sugar rush).

I cannot find it if i search for sugar rush and the descriptions of the stories in my bookmarks do not switch on any light.

Are my girls stereotipical for the magic girl genre?

1st: gardening. A girl with a heart of gold who will do her best to be there for everyone because she really loves people. But god is she scared of everything including her own shadow.

2nd: mechanic. She is creative and will ask you about everything she can think of then will get lost in her own work for hours or even days. Then she will also fall and break something on her way.

3rd: medicine. She is smart and painfully honest in her oblivion to social standards and rules. Though, she struggles with finding pleasure and contentment in life.

4th: sports. Her muscles are her decision making machine. She is confident and strong enough to redefine femininity with a punch to your face. She will punch you. You've been warned.

5th: culinary. She is chill like that. Likes to laze around and just exist when she is content. But beware of her boredom for it usually results in: "what happens if i poke the bear?"

Basically: i saw some sketches for the W.I.T.C.H. characters and i got the urge to make my own magic girls inspired by what i know about shows like these.

But i also don't want them to be too stereotipical.

Basically, these girls are in different specialisations in the same university and, one stormy night, the old tree in the middle of the campus choses them as fit to repair the imbalance happening within it's internal magic world.

That's it.

I am just so proud of myself for actually finishing something after such a long time. Even if it's just a small 5k oneshot, it's MY 5k oneshot and it's finished and I am 100% not proud of it but I 100% love it. Because it's mine and it's finished.

Now the only thing i'm waiting for is either feedback from any potential readers or for the ao3 curse to strike me.

I am really curious which one will get me first.

Rochelle just came in yesterday and im in love. Her and robecca were the only ghouls i planned to get the g1 verdions of (even before knowing they will have a creeproduction line so big win for me).

Grantedly, i did not expect her wings, ears, pet and hands to be so maleable. I expected them to be hard as stone (pun intended).

Her lil socks are the absolute best but i have to admit, i aint the biggest fan of her 2 piece outfit. I wholehartedly believe it wouldve been better for her to just have a one piece dress. But this stems from my frustration that her top is always riding up and exposing her belly.

I also did not expect for the wings to make it harder to put her on a stand. Really, i am apprehensive to even use the stand because it feels like it presses too hard on her wings.

Ultimately, i love these 2 ghouls. But man, do i wish mattel will make a g3 version of rochelle sooner. No hate towards g1, but the g3 ghouls are so much easier to pose because of the head and chest articulation.

Anyway, this was my mini rant about my final experience with g1.
