I was reading about why games like GTA, Spider-Man, God of War, etc. aren't on most cloud gaming services. Apparently, one of the biggest problems is publishers not wanting cloud services to replace normal game sales.

But I came across an idea that sounds almost impossible 😂: What if you simply buy the game normally AND pay for the cloud service separately? You own the game, and the cloud service is basically just the hardware to run it. Would that actually make sense, or am I missing something obvious?

Because honestly, I'd pay for that if it meant I could play AAA games without owning a crazy expensive PC.
