Knitting with a kitty

Took up a new hobby and I think my cat might be thinking about getting in the professional knitting business himself.

While I appreciate his interest how do I set boundaries and facilitate the conversation of asking him very politely to buy his own materials and needles. I don't mind sharing but this is insane

1970s? Coca-Cola jacket that smells like 'cat'

Found and purchased this vintage Coca-Cola jacket today from an estate sale. I love it, its in excellent condition and fits me well but the entrie estate sale had a cat odor smell and unfortunately the jacket still smells faintly of urine 🫠. Theres no stains on it, and I don't think a cat actually peed on it, just that the smell in the air set into it.

It don't own a whole lot of vintage clothes but I LOVE this jacket and want to be able to wear it without feeling like I stink. Does anyone have any advice on how to clean this without ruining it?

Long A** Period with BIG A** Clots

I am 26 years old and have had my period for about 12 days now and yesterday I started passing big clots. Like BIG A** clots. My period is normally pretty regular and normally only lasts 3-5 days. I have no idea what's going on. And theres no way I'm pregnant. In the last 24 hrs I've passed about 10 of these.

I have an appointment with a gynecologist in a month or so but just wondering how other people are dealing with this and what to ask/expect.

UPDATE: thank yall for all the responses.

I didn't add this in my orginal post but the first thing I did when I started passing these was go to the ER to be seen. I waited for 5 hours just for them to do no testing and be told that abnormal periods were normal. They told me to follow up with a gynecologist and to go back if i started feeling dizzy or lightheaded.

When I made the orginal post i was acting like it was an emergency because I went to the ER and was told by professionals it wasn't 😅. My intention was to just to see what other people's experience with this what and kind of get an idea of what to expect. I wasn't looking for medical advice just people who had gone through something similar.

My insurance is through the VA which is a pain to get anything done. The earliest I can be seen by a gynecologist is a month out. When I got discharged from the Er the first thing I did was call to make an appointment.

I ended up calling my family doctor who was much more concerned than the ER doctor about my symptoms and made me a same day appointment. She gave me a prescription to stop my bleeding and ordered labs and told me to go back to the ER if the medication doesn't stop the bleeding and clots, which i will do.

Thank yall again for your responses and concern 😅

I really thought that this might be something a lot of people experience based on the lack of concern from the ER
