An interesting take on Clicks marketing

I wanted to dismiss this video as clickbait. But actually it’s well researched and his argument is calmly put forward.

Dragonsteel appreciation post

UK buyer here (I was the guy who cosplayed as Brandon at the MCM 😂).

I bought Shards of Creation on the Dragonsteel website late Wednesday night as. last minute birthday gift for my son. I have the deck in my hand in the UK Monday morning. Great tracking info. 10/10 would recommend.

Side note - the cards are bloody beautiful (I bought a deck for myself and am keeping it!)

First comic con. First cosplay. What a day (Thank you Brandon and Dragonsteel)

Thank you everyone at MCM Comic Con , we made some lifelong memories with my son today. Met my hero Brandon. And the staff at Dragonsteel were awesome. Friendly, chatty, helpful and warm. We have had the best day. Never done cosplay before and I was nervous. I felt stupid and thought nobody would recognise me and everyone would stare at me. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Dragonsteel staff were amazing - Chatted for ages, made the queue a pleasant experience and even helped me with an exchange when I bought the wrong size and didn’t have a receipt.

As for cosplay. I had so many people ask for pics. A few people asked for autographs which was hilarious and the chat with Brandon, the pin from him and then he chatted to my son and have him one too was the icing on the cake

As for cosplay nerves. I LOVED it. At the end of the day i got changed for the train home. I was sad not to be dressed up like everyone else. It was ridiculously welcoming and I felt a real sense of belonging.

If you’re 55 and nervous about dressing up, going to a comic con and meeting thousands of people for the first time…DO IT. It’s an amazing day

My son and I - first ever cosplay

I went as Brandon (with a Sharpie and R.A.F.O cards) and my son as a Scadrian pilot. I’ve got a lightning signing slot at the 3pm - et’s see what he says about my outfit haha.

Sunday MCM Lightning signing ticket process.

We all (rightly) hop on here when things don’t go to plan. I thought I’d also come here to say how easy it was to get a ticket for Sunday lightning signing at MCM this weekend. Clicked link, waited in line, got assigned a slot, timer told me exactly how long I had to wait. Then I got in, put my details, got a qr code code and pdf. So easy and smooth. Thanks to all the people in the background that made that ad easy and smooth as Wit
