First time in 40 years I’ve ever seen one of these.

I grew up looking for snakes and salamanders pretty regularly, and until I found this I had no idea they even existed/salamanders got that big where I live (Eastern Canada).

Was gardening and filming a video for a buddy when I found it.

Just beginning and in my collection phase.

Heading to a seminar today/tomorrow to properly learn.

Here’s my collection so far, how it started vs how it’s going.

Any way of guessing how much distance I can get with this so far? Going to start small until I’m better at it for now.

What is the process called that would edge something like this?

While hiking out in the woods I was looking for some stones for a nature project. Walking by a small creek I found this guy fully submerged.

Rock cracking awesome during glacial movement?

Haven’t seen these guys before. Nova Scotia, Canada

Of note, the leaves around this mushroom were like, tightly held to it. I thought it was just debris and tried to move it for the picture, felt resistance and stop.

Favourite custom dyed disc? What is it/what do you call it?

This is Techbrain.
It’s a Cloudbreaker.
I won it in an auction not even knowing what kind of disc it was for around $25 CAD.

I absolutely love this disc, my go to driver and even sometimes mid.

Absolute genius of a dad playing with his kids right infront of me.

I’m pretty relaxed out, at a bit of a private wooded beach.

Started overheating some light hearted arguing, and I started paying a bit more attention.

Dad beside me has his kids playing a game where for everything they find in the water that’s manmade and return to the shore in a neat pile, they get points.

I think this game goes to 30, and on one hand the dad is being absolutely brutal with the points. At the same time his kids are learning a lot about what’s man made and what isn’t.

Kid just came up with a rock.

“That’s a rock, no points.”
“It’s a red rock!”

Absolute genius.

Extremely new to this and not the best at traditional learning.

How’s it going today.

Topic is more about me asking if anyone minds if I contact them through here (or elsewhere) to get help/tips with starting my dry wall.

I’ve watched some YouTube on it, read up on it but am still struggling with some basic stuff. Not because I’m stupid, there just be something that isn’t clicking.

Thanks for the read. Feel free to comment/throw me a message. Or if you have discord, look up lostacadias.

Photos with water are of before and after the buildup.

This stream is pretty well even the whole way down, but at this once point there’s a large buildup of rocks jutting out. Was just curious as to what may cause it.
